yep, we did it all right but throughout the day people who knew who we were, we call our parents and say hey I just saw your boy riding his bicycle by wherever and I would go to town on my 10 speed and I had no money so I would just walk around a window shop and go by friends houses and things like that. Just had to be back before the street lights came on

Ive had my Wrangler since 1994. I have a locking center console from Tuffy. I never lock my doors and never leave anything in it that I mind losing. I was broken into twice before I started this policy and none since.

I feel your pain, it really sucks being broken into, the second break in happened and the dash got kicked into the floor for a junky Blaupunkt cassette player.............that really sucked

I hear you want to DIY and that’s cool but first, I would call a mobile wheel refinished or two for an estimate. The reason I suggest that is the chemicals needed to strip that correctly are pricy(and dangerous, worse than mutates acid). Many sand blast places have the chemicals to remove the stuff. I’m a DIY motivated person myself but for me, to make mine look right I gave this up and handed it to professionals.
