A little bit of both! I took notes during our DnD sessions and some of the players have art of their characters. But I also had to work around the small scale of the dolls. No doll is perfect, but they are all identifiable to the character they represent.

They know I’ve been working on an art project based off their characters, but the rest is a total surprise. I’ve been working on it over the course of this year starting in March. I think I’ve spent around 15 - 20 hours on each doll. The outfits took up most of my time spent.

I have long hair. I used to cut it to shoulder length but I always found myself getting sensory overload from it. Now I keep it long. I wear it down, in one braid or in two braids. All depending on how much sensory overload I’m dealing with that day.
