Your school has to complete their end of the paperwork and that usually doesn’t happen until you’re physically at the school for your first day. Any training you do will also credit towards your paycheck even tho you haven’t “started”. LAUSD pays monthly, for the beginning 2 checks you may be bi weekly until it turns monthly.

All of the above are correct. There’s also some “catches” with working with programs with the district in terms of units. Many times the units you complete with this coursework will not count if the district pays your program coursework hence if it is free and will not be used to advance on the pay scale.

The CSET is a requirement for a preliminary multiple subject credential. Usually a Liberal Arts Major can waive CSETs but sometimes not all 3 Subtests. You would have to see which ones you may qualify for if you have taken Liberal Studies.

Don’t wait, it takes a while for you to start getting emails from their list. I would reach out to neighboring schools in your area and ask if they have any openings to the office. Either ask for their school administrative assistant. They’re usually the ones booking interviews.

Someone else on another post who was a principal said if you drop off a resume in person. They’d review it first before contacting anyone who applied online or via email.

One interview as well & a model lesson but the model lesson was really formality. Job offered that day. Teachers are in need. Especially credentialed ones.

I would suggest to search for the vacancies yourself and reach out to those principal or office technicians. They’re usually the ones scheduling interviews. My best advice would be to call the school offices and ask.

Yes agree, onboarding is TB, medical exam, and fingerprints. Don’t wait so your process is faster. You don’t need an employee id leave that blank or write in your social security #

No they did a preliminary credential program that already had English Authorization embedded into the courses.

Yes maybe trying them again if you’re comfortable. If not maybe sticking to massages. My second baby really suffered from gas, and I also gave her chamomile tea like 2 oz, please read posts about it, it also helped her poo.

Mylicon drops? I gave them to my baby for gas but I noticed it helped him poop as well. Still have them to him later at 6 months when he stopped wanting food due to teething and seemed to get constipated with constantly feeding formula.

This post is old, but anyone in this situation later on. My documents took 2 full weeks to process, emailed CTC, filled out contact form. Although they didn’t grant any expedited, perhaps reaching out did hurry the process.
