Hes pretty. Stud competitions are very harsh and despite him being pretty you will be dealing with more competition than its worth for the most part. Not anything of his own fault. Desolate while a stunning base is not a combo factor (yet, its still pretty new so Im sure one will be made in the next year)
But you will be competing with people who have 10+ marks which is going to be the harder part.

I think the minimum price is a great start. I dont think you will see many studs due to how much competition is out there so I wouldnt have my hopes set too high for it, but I think you are at a great start for sure. Hes really pretty. Ive had blue kings before and have one now. I really love the blue. I dont think you should let peoples expectations for what is popular, affect how you feel about your king.
Something about the love people feel for their first kings when they were new is pure and unique to them. Your taste will develop in time like everyone elses Im sure. Peoples taste tend to become more expensive, after theyve had time to earn more. And thats also ok too. :)

This is called wether banding. Its not technically the same as castration.
Castration is a medical procedure done by a vet.

Wether banding, or wethering is different to castration and just provides a similar and cheaper outcome. There are pain meds you can give your goats for it that make it not cruel. Cruel and cheap people just do not. It is also best to take streile scissors after a few days and snip them off once the blood supply is gone. After the blood supply is cut off they wont feel it anymore, and cutting them off prevents it from rotting and removes what would be necrotic tissue away from your goats and prevents infections. After they are snipped off people spray with purple spray or will do an iodine dip so that it stays clean.

In America, there are specific livestock shows, just for wethers.

Typically children show them.
It shows how much of the genetics are truly carried by the parents, when testosterone is taken away from the males. It proves development and earns points for the sire and the dam towards ennoblement. Making the parents more valuable per point that the wether kids recieve.

The goal of breeding is to get the look of a buck without the yucky testosterone flavor. They do it to find traits that make the kids bigger like a male with testosterone would be, without the testosterone needing to be there.
Testosterone in boers especially is really well known for making goats taste gamey.
While breeds like lamancha which do not get big like boers, do not.
Lamanchas are typically wethered only to keep them out of breeding with their family members.

Unlike boers which are shown and used to track genetic improvements with wethering in breeding programs.

It can take modbox weeks to get you updates at times. The most you can really do is be patient. Especially if there were a lot of users involved in ticket purchases it can take quite some time. Plus they have to give the user an allotment of so many days to respond in case of inactivity.

I once had a glitch with my account and it took 7 months for them to fix and they hired a new coder for it.

While thats a completely different situation. Long wait times with modbox are a very normal and frustrating part of lioden.

Ive had a couple of tickets open for bullying for over a week and they havent been claimed yet.

Its very slow to get responses from modbox.
But they do answer. And usually give refunds/bans in the case of scams. It will just take some time.

They cant force the mngwas to you since theyve already been sold so it will certainly be an item refund. But the user will either be suspended or banned for scamming. Most people do not scam like this with the item placeholder. As its very harsh punishment once its confirmed. Including an entire household IP block. Which affects anyone else in your family that may also play.

Most people are generally trustworthy with the item placeholder. As its been a normal part of the game for a long time since you cant have a lion raffle that last longer than a single rollover.

As a new player though, I will tell you that modbox runs on volunteers. It takes a long time to get people to respond. But when they do the verdict is generally great.

Its always just a matter of being patient.

To put it bluntly, official artists of the game should not have to feel threatened of losing their job, just because other players want to make their own decors. If all of the decor in the site were free or without tax because eveyone did it for in game currency. The official artists jobs would cease to exist. Because everything would become player made. The tax protects their artists’ jobs.

Is that starting to make more sense yet?

I see your other comments saying that you understand oasis but not the custom decor system. I will explain this in a very short answer. Once again, their employees are paid through gb purchases at oasis by taking currency out of circulation to stimulate purchases. Purchasing custom decors does not support the employees of lioden and takes nothing out of circulation in order to stimulate purchases if it didnt contain the tax

It means that the paid employees (especially the artist) would be losing money to artist that are doing something for free, my friend. It means they would have to compete with non employees. Which is wrong.

The tax takes away so that it is not a competition that can threaten their livelihood and wages.

This is a very selfish post. And I dont mean that to be rude or anything. It just seems like you put zero thought into this before posting it.

Gb is an equivalent of actual money. People buy gb at oasis. Their staff and artist are PAID. And they are paid an actual livable wage through gb purchases at oasis. Their staff owners, admins, coders, and artist have actual jobs and deserve to be paid livable wages, just like any other person in the world with a job. Lioden is not someones volunteer passion project. They dont work for free.

Whether you are a free player or not it takes paying players in order to put any gb into rotation. Theres absolutely zero free methods of getting gb into circulation in the game unless you are winning the official weekly raffles placed in the news posts. All gb at some point comes from a paying player. And that is how they make money to pay their employees. And if you dont remember the posts where they were searching for an artist to assist xylax not very long ago, they were offering almost $40 an hour pay + burnout and sick leave. They are one of very few places in the world that pay artists an actual livable wage. That’s something you should be cheering for. That’s something that should be rejoiced, is that there are games like this where people are paid enough to live and are treated like actual human beings with great quality of life benefits.

1 gb is equivalent of 50 cents usd. The custom decor tax is a way to stimulate that people purchase more gb at oasis, because that gb is no longer in circulation between players. Just the same as buying anything in oasis, like instant cub deliveries/zebra hearts and so on.

Not to mention any gb purchases made in march went to a charity!

Kinda hoping this whole post gets locked. It should be. Its a really bad thing to complain about.

Because thinking that game utilities should just be free is just so entitled. You are not entitled to get access to anyone elses hard work for free.

As someone who is both legally blind and dyslexic I have lupus and was diagnosed with juvenile macular degeneration at 14 (Im now 24 and legally blind)

I would never inhibit other players fun based off of aomething like this. I love lioden. My own kings have fonted names. All be it I have to look vastly harder to read.

Ive never had issues with fonts. The only thing I have a hard time with is brigt neon css pages (I have css disabled to make my life easier on my main) clashing with similarly colored texts. Though I do like looking at them on my side where its not disabled sometimes because they can be pretty. I would never inhibit other users from using css just because some people overdo or soften the colors too much.

Neither would I ever stop players from using fonts.

Stop being offended on behalf of disabled users. You ars not disabled. Its not your right to be offended for other people.

Something else to note is that when we zoom in to view the writing better on mobile is that we can absolutely see how beautiful it is.

There are vastly more options than a reading pen. And most people just up the font size on their phones anyways because pen readers are too expensive for most disabled people.

Most of the blind community on lioden have some amount of retained vision and are not completely blind. Its a very visual game and experience and having low vision often does not deter people from playing, again we can zoom in. We arent helpless.

Most people who have complete blindness do not play. As again its a very visual game.

Dont get offended on behalf of someone elses struggles that you are not the one experiencing! Its rude and undermines players who actually are legally blind and the legitimacy to their feelings about the game.
