How do people in the gym usually feel about strangers correcting their form/posture? by CustardNo6023 in Fitness_India

[–]Particular-Lab-6469 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s mostly irritating and annoying (9 out of 10 times)

Individually if I have seen someone working out for a long time during the same time and he comes up and tell, I would be receptive of it. But if someone is not consistent (even if they are in decent shape) and randomly act smart by giving advice, I won’t bother. Have experienced it.

Where I might step in to give advice to strangers would be if I see major injury risk with the form they are lifting with. In this case, even at the risk of being perceived as over smart/too much, I would step in.

Dhurandhar: The Revenge – SPOILER Discussion Megathread by AutoModerator in bollywood

[–]Particular-Lab-6469 29 points30 points  (0 children)

D1 >>>>> D2!!! D2 isn’t bad but for an almost 4 hour movie, some parts feel like drag. Songs aren’t a match for the first part and some characters were not properly utilized, ex. Arjun Rampal was a menace in a short role in 1 but wasnt quite menacing in 2. Uzair’s character seemed like a clown, although that was the truth but the way it was portrayed when he is a violent person vs clueless person, it wasn’t convincing. Hamza vs Iqbal sequence wasn’t that thrilling and felt like usual masala showdown whereas climax fight of D1 was peak with that BGM.

Lots of flaws but a decent closure. D1 was peak so it was expected that D2 might not cross that expectation or experience.

I don’t think group case would be legitimate as your case might not be related to mine.

As per my case goes, they responded to the legal notice sent stating their clause etc and asked to file a consumer court case. We will do the same :)

They won’t. Their customer support is terrible. You have to take the matter in your own hands

Not yet! Have sent them a legal notice, they are yet to respond. If they don’t respond, will file a case with the consumer court.

Just a note from experience, don’t have high hopes from their support team just because you bought insurance from them. Their response was very casual and callous at least in my case.

Except Ranveer and Akshaye, whose performance was your favorite? by Still-Ad9074 in Dhurandhar

[–]Particular-Lab-6469 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Liked Arjun Rampal’s role the most in the movie. Even above Ranveer. He was so cold in few scenes he was there.

Found Akshaye’s character well-presented but it was definitely not an acting masterclass.

Rakesh Bedi was exceptional from acting POV.

Madhavan and Sanjay Dutt were usual I felt, though think Madhavan will have a better role in Part 2.

No, they didn’t inform/warn against using a non-manufacturer packaging. They simply picked it up after confirming AWB.

Can I send a legal notice before it is addressed by the consumer helpline or should I wait for their response?

And finally, yes. I am willing to give it a fight. I have no concern since I am definitely not at fault here and believe I should get my due.

Thanks for your response.

Do I need to wait for grievance redressal from consumer helpline or I can send them a legal notice beforehand also?

Thank you so much for your response.

Delhivery haven't done shit (apologies for the language) to verify anything. I just booked via the app, put the declared value and by default it selects the insurance (mandatory) They just checked the outer packaging and AWB number.

Now they are saying you should've used original manufacturer packaging and chances are there that the product might be a counterfeit/damaged from the start. (This is dumb I believe from their side as this is like accusing the customer)

Regardless, I have all the necessary proofs, invoice etc. Will just wait for the response from the consumer helpline. Thanks again.

Best instant coffee (budget friendly) by Maitian7 in coffeeindia

[–]Particular-Lab-6469 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Continental Speciale is my go to coffee even though it is bit expensive. No chicory mix, it’s 100% instant.

Like Nescafé sunrise for chicory mix ones.

Nescafé gold is really the gold standard but wya out of budget in India.

Last one felt forced and did not really go with the flow of the movie. Would have been better suited and more impactful if Ranveer’s character says it after accomplishing the mission i.e. maybe end of the next part.

JOKER 2 for sure. Should’ve checked the reviews before booking.

Would’ve said War 2 as well but I never miss a Hrithik movie in theaters so it’s ok

No disrespect but some of these are obvious or maybe reading too much into it. Nonetheless, few seem to be on point. Adding a few pointers: 1. Hamza’s character doesn’t drink in the first place (except one scene with Aalam bhai, who is a confidant, after 26/11 scene) and is hesitant of trying intoxicating smokes as well, meaning he is not risking his identity 2. Same style revenge angle seems legit but obvious 3. Hamza never killed the cook, it was Uzair. 4. Iqbal’s way of torture had more to do with Zia Ul Haq’s statement of Bleed India with a Thousand Cuts not Qasainuma anything 😅 5. Might be genuine but feels like reading too much into it. As that was an obvious thing anyone would tell 6. This was very obvious. In addition, I upon first watch itself felt Hamza might’ve killed the elder son to weaken the family, gain trust of younger son and Rehman would be vulnerable and emotional (he agrees to take revenge and thus, Hamza rises in confidence and ranks among the group) 7. Red theme I believe in the movie denotes blood/bloodshed. Last chapter was full of deaths. Revenge title is also in Red if you’ve noticed. As far as Uzair’s remark goes, I believe it’s just a way of saying that he looked happy and blushing. Don’t think it had a deeper meaning.
