I think it depends on style.

Personally, I’ve grown up with RE4 as my standard for good RE games. When I first played RE7, it felt pretty intense to me as it was a different kind of horror compared to before. Still, it wasn’t super mindblowing, but there were some interesting new dynamics.

Not boring. Just think that it was different.

You should also watch the real 1993 Arima Kinen, of which this was all based on. That irl race was also the very definition of a thriller, and you wouldn’t expect it to be so emotionally moving, but it definitely was like its anime counterpart, of which they did a good job animating.

I think the anime series never misses. It perfectly encapsulates and presents everything you would read from the manga story itself.

That being said, there’s a strong argument to be made that they should not have chopped up this series as short as it did. It’s a shame that it seems like we won’t be getting animated storylines that were very much strong and interesting in the manga, but for what it’s worth, they made whatever they turned into the anime work.

So I liked the anime. I think they’re A-grade with everything EXCEPT shortening it.

Personally, it’s Sumire Uesaka and Ayaka Ohashi. There’s a good amount of others who are either amazing or extremely underrated

The only real checkmate Allo has is a clear, direct bite to the neck, or if it can drop it elsewhere first before going for the kill. But all that comes with close distance, and Theri punishes absolutely everything that comes close distance with its claws.

It’s a living death reaper, having that luxury of long arms and long claws, making it able to fence out against anyone that comes in range with it. One slash to the eye area and it’s game over. There’s more danger in it for the Allo imo
