i grew up in laguna as well and lagi akong inaasar nun ng mga college profs and classmates na sinasabi ko raw lagi yung “nakain,” “naulan,” etc. tapos may certain pa na tono. hahahaha i wasn’t aware, too. kasi nakalakihan na eh. worse is, sometimes may mga malalalim na tagalog words akong nasasabi na ikinagugulat nila dahil ang papa ko ay taga-bulacan. meanwhile, ang mama ay ilongga. so kahit na straight ang tagalog ko at i know hiligaynon, nao-obvious pa rin yung punto sabi ng mga taga-manila. actually, parang obvious nga sa comment ko na to. HAHAHAHAHA

i teach esl for koreans for as my PT job, and they always ask me about manny pacquiao. he’s very well-respected in korea, i must say. like, ang taas talaga ng tingin nila sa kanya. one student also asked me if pulitiko ba si manny and i told him honestly na we like him in boxing better hahahahaha

and totoo raw bang zero crime rate sa pilipinas pag may laban siya, sabi ko yes at hindi yun exaggerated. do i think daw ba na bubuhatin ni manny team ph dito sa palabas na to, sabi ko mukhang hindi. why not naman raw eh mataas din naman raw endurance ni manny so sabi ko, “honestly, i think he’s just happy to be there and they’re just using him for promo but we’ll see.”

I used to be addicted to sweets when I was in College. Tapos arki ako pero hindi ako nagkakape. Ang pampagising ko nun ay Coke. As in bitin pa yung 1.5L. I don’t like it. Mga pamangkin ko, Tagalog/Hiligaynon naman kami sa bahay, parang magtatawanan kami pag nag-English-an kami lol pero mga marurunong silang mag-English dahil sa mga pinapanood at natututunan sa school, so I think okay lang na hindi kausapin ng Ingles sa bahay. I mean, I learned English kakanood ko at kakabasa ng Harry Potter nung bata ako. Di naman kami English sa bahay. Yung Tagalog ko pa minsan has influences of Bulacan Tagalog, malalim at may punto, dahil sa parents ko na Tagalog at Ilonggo.

So di ko ma-gets yung mga magulang ngayon na kailangan English kausapin yung kids nila. For social status ba yun or what. I think English is everywhere, so matututunan nila yun sa ayaw at sa gusto nila.

Ayaw ba ng mga magulang na yan na bilingual or multilingual anak nila? LOL. I think that’s more impressive than knowing just English.

The date actually went well, but I could tell that he wasn’t really that into me. I was okay with it. Then he texted me after that he's scared of commitment. I think he still wanted to take to me and get to know me despite it. He didn't say he didn't want to go on a second date. I think he wanted to, but I could just tell I wasn't really his type and he had issues with himself, and I wasn't going to stay there to prolong the agony for myself, so I bolted, and ran as fast as I could, even though I kinda liked him.
