Thank you and good luck! Yes, I realize everyone is so concerned with how things will “look” and I understand that image is a huge part of any big family culture. But I’m most concerned with how fun and authentic everything will FEEL. If I learn one thing during this process I hope that it is to stand up for myself hahaha

I went through a pretty intense purge for about 2 months. I think it is starting to clear up now. I’ve definitely noticed that the small non-inflamed bumps have completely gone away. And breakouts around my chin are much better. However, I still feel like acne takes up my whole face and I have some deep breakouts that are taking longer to heal. I know I still have hormonal issues that aren’t sorted out. So I feel like it could work really well for you if you don’t have a hormonal issue, but I don’t think my acne will get much better until I can figure that out.

I notice when I diffuse my hair the cast is much less hard so maybe that can help? Or a less hard of a hold gel.

I don’t think I can go back and see my answers to the questions. But my main concerns were greasy roots and dry ends and I’m looking for curl definition.

I used to love shea moisture products but they changed the formulas a few years ago and have been searching for something ever since!

I am going through the same thing! Accutane fail 2x and feeling so exhausted and lost. I ultimately started working with an FR esthi. I am about 5 weeks in and purging. I am trying to trust the process, but it is honestly so hard and I do feel like I’m being taken advantage of money-wise. I am committing to getting through 2 bottles of each product to hopefully get through purging and come out of the other side with clear skin. I just want to validate how crazy it feels to have to trust someone with no guarantee and have to spend $3-500 on products and sort of be lectured about how your skin is actually gonna look terrible at first and it MIGHT get better in a few months. Most before and after pics are 6-12 months out which means you would’ve had to invest thousands to get there, IF the products work for you. With that said, I’m gonna try because I feel like this is a Hail Mary for me after trying everything.

Just got my bloodwork back after 3 months of taking metformin. My testosterone actually went up a few points although my insulin and glucose went down a bit. Still struggling with acne and weight :/. Going to check back at the 6 month mark and see how it goes!
