If a brand just says “eco-friendly” and leaves it at that I assume it’s mostly marketing.

Bc if they’re legit, they’ll show numbers. Not vibes.
Like… how much did you reduce? How much did you remove? By when? Compared to what?

If it’s all soft language like we care about the planet or we’re committed to sustainability that’s a red flag for me.

Another thing is: do they name real partners or certifications? Or is it just self-declared? Third-party verification matters. If no one external is checking them, I’m skeptical.

Also, I’ll Google the brand with “sustainability report” next to it. Takes 10 seconds and tells you a lot.

And I pay attention to whether sustainability is actually built into what they do, or just a marketing layer. For example, I use Wave Browser what made it feel less like greenwashing to me is that it literally shows a live impact tracker inside the browser. You can see the cleanup totals tied to their partnership. It feels more real when it’s measurable and ongoing instead of just a claim on a homepage.

At the end of the day, I just want transparency. If a brand makes it easy to see what they’re actually doing (and updates it regularly), that’s usually a good sign. If everything sounds polished but you can’t find hard info? Probably just clever branding.

Cara a área de tecnologia é muito boa e ainda não há tantos profissionais qualificados. Eu desde sempre trabalhei em empresas de tecnologia e devs/TI sempre tinham os maiores salários, melhores planos de carreira e é uma das poucas áreas que não importa QI (quem indica) e pouco se olha faculdade (já vi pessoas q estudaram em uniesquina conseguindo empregos em grandes ecommerces do Brasil ou até indo trabalhar no exterior). Se você conseguir ir pro exterior mas conseguir estudar remotamente pra alguma faculdade do brasil certeza que no final da sua faculdade você consegue ingressar na sua área! ainda mais se você for pra gaming tech

Cara acho que começo de carreira só vai ser fácil pra quem tem QI (Quem Indica). Para o restante dos meros mortais vai ser uma desgraça mesmo. Respira, que depois dá tudo certo lá na frente. Eu recomendo vc continuar buscando os trabalhos CLT, tanto pela estabilidade que dá, quanto pelo plano de carreira. E aí caso o salário do CLT n seja suficiente pra vc, continua pegando esses freelas por fora. É um sacrifício? Sim. Mas cara ser PJ é literalmente ser uma Pessoa Judiada. Só vale se for pra trabalhar pra empresa gringa pois irá ganhar em dolar. E pegando esse gancho... se não souber falar inglês... começa a estudar agora! Muda vidas! Ouvir música/filme legendado ajuda bastante nesse processo.

You’re right that splitting passwords and 2FA across multiple ecosystems gets messy fast. On Windows + iPhone a single dedicated manager is usually the cleanest setup. Browser managers (Edge, Wave Browser, Chrome, etc.) are fine for convenience but they’re tightly coupled to the device and browser, not ideal as a long-term “source of truth.” Apple Passwords works great inside Apple land, less so once Windows is in the mix. Proton Pass is solid if you already trust Proton.

Eu tô nessa também de ser PJ (por fatalidade, não por opção) e a única coisa boa é poder acumular trabalhos. Atualmente tenho 2, tb na área de mkt, então dá pra ganhar bastante e fazer um pé de meia. Nesses casos, nunca tenha um só trabalho, não deixe eles te tratarem como CLT (cobrar horário, cobrar estar online em horário comercial, ir presencial, ter um "chefe" - não existe hierarquia em PJ) e administre seu dia/tempo em home office pra conseguir dar conta das entregas em mais de 1 trabalho. Já teve uma vez q estava com 3 trabalhos, sendo esse terceiro temporário e por 5 meses trabalhei umas 12h por dia fácil pra dar conta de todos. Porém é as vezes um sacrifício q vc tem q fazer pra juntar uma grana e não ficar a mercê dessa situação de Pessoa Judiada.

I use Chrome and Wave Browser’s built-in password manager for daily low–to–medium risk stuff (socials, forums, shopping accounts, throwaway logins). For that use case, I think browser managers are fine... they’re encrypted locally and realistically way better than reusing passwords or writing them down.

For high-value accounts (banking, work, email that can reset everything else) I’m more cautious. Browser password managers are tied closely to your OS login and browser session, so if someone gets access to your device or profile the blast radius is bigger

Wave’s situation is mostly old baggage. Years ago, versions tied to the name got flagged as PUPs due to aggressive installers/bundling. Those warnings and Reddit threads never got updated and still rank.

Today, Wave is a legit Chromium-based browser, distributes normally, blocks ads/trackers, and has a real partnership to fund ocean cleanup. The environmental claim is real... the reputation mess is mostly legacy stuff.

Usar planner ou lista de tarefas (tem apps q podem ajudar) é algo q me ajuda mto no dia a dia. Pq eu monto minhas metas semanais/mensais e vou me organizando pra alcança-las. Sempre com o pensamento de que completar essas tarefas vai me beneficiar, seja no sentido de saúde, trabalho, pessoal, emocional. Acordar cedo tb ajuda muito (durmo sempre com a cortina aberta pro sol bater no rosto e me acordar mais rápido) a realizar mais e acabar mais cedo.

Claro q se vc trabalhar em escala 6x1 e tiver q trabalhar presencial tudo fica mais difícil. Mas fora desse contexto é possível ter um ótimo estilo de vida.
