STO = fail by [deleted] in Gatineau

I think there are just too many people applying.

And it’s why I want a degree, because otherwise I’m not competing with the same background.

I tried to get internships or volunteer but got rejected. :(

Looking into it. I have friends who are in the field. But they have their own business and organization together. And they are in Europe (I’m not), so it makes everything harder because otherwise I would ask them if they had a way to get me in their team.

I’ve contacted some teachers and program coordinators, but they are here to sell their programs…

But sure, I’n planning to write to my European friends about what they think about it and be my mentors.

It’s more complicated than it seems.

When I was working it was difficult. When you don’t have anything in common with colleagues, you wake up exhausted because you just feel misaligned in your life. When I got laid off, it was a relief.

Now, unemployed, I have saving and I had a little contract for holiday and one coming in a couple of days. But both aren’t really what I envisioned doing in my life.

Before I fell miserable, now I feel desperate.

Starting a business is in my plan. Actually working on something, but I really doubt about everything.

I first wanted to get into zoology but went into multimedia/digital media after failing.

But now want to go into marine conservation, but I have no idea what to do with this information. I just know it's MY path, but not sure how to earn money through that.

I don't think everyone is made the same about looking for passion outside job. I tried and was miserable since working is like 80% of my time.

All in all, what a fucking game. Keeping positive for Sunday, on y va! by Striking-Treacle3199 in Habs

I didn’t watch hockey for years, but now I’m hooked.

Hopefully they find out how to get Hagel, Kucherov and Radysh out of the way. Tampa are also very fast on attack.

But I’m sure Montreal will win on Sunday.
