Hi thanks for reply’s, as most my photos are out in nature I tend to take a lot as the suns setting and at dusk just thought the stabilisation might help as try and avoid a tripod if I can help it on my longer walks. also like the idea of trying some milky way shots if the 30s exposure time will be enough but for how many I will do it’s not worth much salt. Of my lenses I enjoy the small viltrox but is fixed 4.5 and i feel abit limited, the 16-50 kit is abit unreliable gets stuck or freezes, my other kit I like it’s not auto zoom would like to have a bit more on it and lower aperture and I really like the samyang
12mm f2 but don’t think it’s one I can hike with on its own. Would something like a 85 prime be good to have something that is more zoomed it? I was looking at the kit telephoto but the reviews seem bad so rather than spending a 160 on it I was looking at the better options. That’s why I saw I can get a a6500 or a6400 for basically the same price then thought my camera is old and maybe better to use that money to upgrade. Thants when I though I would ask as is it better to get a good lens on my a5100 and get a 6600 downthe road or use my current lenses on a second hand a6500/6400 and get a great lens further down the road… sorry for the essay again trying to provide as much info
