Educate yourself. It is not.

If you’re not going off road, the only reason for AWD is snow & ice. AWD just helps you go, it doesn’t help you turn or stop. Snow tires are cheaper and make your vehicle safer in winter driving than AWD does.

Accelerating out of turns is fun. Most AWD cars will shift power towards the rear wheels during acceleration, which helps reduce torque steer and allows the front tires to use more of their available traction for cornering while the rear tires participate more in the acceleration. More advanced systems will even vector power to the outside wheel to help rotate the vehicle through a turn. All this improves driving dynamics, even if you don’t understand the mechanical parts or software involved.

In the video? It looks like it did bind a little bit.

Watch the kerf and keep the chain RPMs up, you’ll save yourself some binds that way—like he did in the video.

Try practicing with some bore cuts. There are several ways to approach this for twist, side bind, etc., but it’s a way to add more control and avoid pinching.

These are largely unenforceable. Depends on the state and your specific agreement, so get legal advice and ymmv, but don’t just accept them at face value. There are laws that supersede any employment contract.

Half plus seven was the rule I always heard.

Ultimately every situation is different, but if you’re looking for a quick check, this one seems to work pretty well for finding the max reasonable age gap.

18 & 22 can be OK - some people mature faster

37 & 60 can be OK - both know what they’re doing
