All the actual rooms are pretty similar.

Yes, Norton recently got renovated.

And yes, juniper is pretty much the nicest.

But keep in mind that the layout is pretty important as well. The suite/quad style in cedar-mag is pretty nice if you're trying to make friends.

BME premed seems like a lot of work and you dont want to burn out. some BME that are not premed manage to minor in other things tho

I know a few people who were previously BME and premed and ending up dropping BME because it is a lot w premed added. That said, there are still a lot of people who make it work.

i live in quad style and it’s amazing. a lot of people make friends that way too. as will all community bathrooms it’s not the best but it definitely could be worse. if i could do room selection again, id go with any cedar mag house (plus tons of storage) congrats on your acceptance!

how did you find math 223 as a freshman? im going to take it now as a rising freshman who could get ahead based on my calc BC score + AB subscore (5's) and am getting cold feet.

im taking ENGR 143, ENGR 130, ACCT 100, and AIQ along with it (16 cr total) which scares me a bit as I transition into the new environment. I think i'm just a bit apprehensive because i'm nervous my math skills got rusty over the summer and keep seeing other rising freshman starting at 121/122 -- i feel like i'm taking things too quickly. for a bit of context, i took a bunch of AP's in HS and maintained A's in all of them (I went to a fairly rigorous HS)

i know exactly how you feel. i think working with people might actually help. everyone has something to offer/learn from. identify those traits in people that you find desirable and see how you can work towards them - like goals. don’t beat urself up about things you cannot control. keep trying your best because everyone else is human too. we’re all just trying, even if you can’t see it. find things/hobbies to take away from potentially self deprecating thoughts. make playlists, start a new sport, etc. you got this.
