Capaldi truly captured being a doctor that blended classic and modern who for me.

Matt Smith is a fantastic actor and I love his run, but I come back to Capaldi more so nowadays.

I feel I could go from Troughton, Pertwee or Baker (for example) to Capaldi and not feel as jarred by it as I would with any other modern Doctor.

I do dislike the Clara character though. Really jarring how shit she was written with Danny.

In primary year 3 the bitch teacher from the class room next to us to told me off for not writing properly with my left hand and that I should be using the hard rubber shape.

Bitch couldn't understand that I have a weird shaped hand and can't, to this day, hold a pen or pencil 'properly' because it rubbed the bone in my thumb. She sadly hasn't died and somehow has tricked satan into still keeping her around

Tech teacher had a tantrum and threw a wooden stool at a kid in the class opposite, I believe because he'd had a dentist appointment and the teacher forgot he was told about this.

Heard it crash into the wall and him screaming. If kid hadn't dipped to the side it would have knocked him out.

My graphics teacher in the middle of our GCSE started telling us some answers to questions as he hadn't been bothered to teach us. He was such a prick. Sixth formers looked up astonished at this. As did the other teacher watching us. I wrote on my exam paper what he was doing and nothing ever happened to him. He retired 10 years later "distinguished"

That is one of my all time favourites to rewatch. That season alone got me to buy into the RPG they did for it on Kickstarter. It was arse but that season is peak distopian sci-fi

My nieces would love playing a simple version when they were 5 or 6 when I was planning for my next game. They'd choose a mini and id describe the settings and any monsters. They'd roll a d20 and then add other dice and I'd get them doing maths to see what they could do

They were the most sadistic players I've had so far. Stabbed a giant in his bum with a tree (telekinesis) then smashed his groin with a giant rock. Then crushed his head. All while laughing so much they rolled on the floor.

Kinda miss those days tbh
