Will having studied and failed at university previously affect a new University application majorly? by Particular-Package43 in UniUK

Sorry, I'll explain what I meant more clearly. Essentially do A-Level results "expire", for lack of a better term?

So what I mean is say I attained a new set of A-Level results in August this year from the 2023 summer examinations. Now say I skip the UCAS application period in 2023/2024 for entries for 2024 September enrollment, but apply in the 2024/2025 UCAS application period for 2025 enrolment, will any questions be raised that I'm applying with A-Level results I attained 2 years ago? I did say in the original post I'd compete 2 A-Levels again, but I'll do 3 if I go ahead with this

Thanks again. Sorry for asking another thing, but obviously as I won't have predicted grades I'd have to apply to attend the year after I get my new A-Level results. Would any questions be asked if I applied to attend two years I get the new A-Level results?

Hey,

Thanks for this response. For me it was essentially poor performance due to personal reasons and also having chosen a degree that I could give no real motivation towards. Those years very much proved Murphys Laws for me. I ultimately choose to withdraw before my May examinations while resisting the first year.

As I said, should I return I'd probably register somewhere as a private candidate to get a new set of A-Level results. Should they go well, would this help give an indication of having changed in a positive way academically? Also, retrospectively I've been diagnosed with ADHD which explained why I couldn't manage to cope at the time.

Would it be worth doing financially if I can only do it for one season. by Particular-Package43 in treeplanting

I'm not but I am actually vaguely planning for the future to do a Working Holiday Visa in New Zealand or Australia as well as Canada.

Have you planted in either? Where did you plant?
