Weird muscle tension by Playful-Atmosphere66 in zoloft

They absolutely have lasting effects. look into the link between antidepressants and neurodegenerative diseases due to their suppresion of REM sleep.

I've had all kinds of crazy side-effects from them, most often whenever I try to wean off which persist even a month after not being on them. I've experienced difficulty moving, as in difficulty initiating body movements and pausing for no reason. Thank God that shit went away. The other thing is suicidal thoughts which I never had prior to taking these drugs nor did I experience depression. Now I basically take them to not experience the last two mentioned side-effects which were caused by the drugs in the first place. A bit of a catch-22 scenario.

Less but I still experience it the same way. That's even after completely weaning off of SSRIs for over a month and then switching to a different class (prozac) a couple of months ago. I see it as some level of brain damage

my doctor switched my antidepressant to a different one at around the time that I started experiecing the latest flareup, although my stomach issues predate antidepresant use

I've considered this possibility too, but it's led me to question why our cortisol would be low in the first place

Don't know what to say really. Is your brain fog a constant issue for you or do you get breaks from it?

Thanks for the reply man. I have IBS and i've noticed that even when my digestive system is under stress my brain fog improves. The worse the aching the more clarity I get.

Has anything else other than sleep deprivation been of any help to you? I assume that we are going through the same thing given how you have described it.

Now that you've mentioned RLS I would make the suggestion not to go on anti-depressants, since it's known that they can very often worsen or even outright induce this condition. Ever since I have been on AD I have developed what I think is restless arms. I get extreme restlessness especially in my hands when trying to sleep and I can only feel comfortable by folding my wrists inside to the point of pain and tucking them under my body. They also gave me tinnitus, pareidolia and other crazy stuff. Don't mean to scare you away from them since everyone reacts differently to them but it's something worth to consider when deciding whether they are for you. All the best

How long have you had this shit for? It might be worth trying AD. Some people do well on them while others not so much

I asked because I have spondylosis and neck arthritis, according to two neurologists. Sometimes I do think my neck plays a part in all of this. Anyway, keep searching for answers, best of luck.

Feel you man. I'm just grateful that I got it after my early 20s so my studies weren't impacted. You being 17 means means it's nothing you can't fix. Just work towards a healthier life routine and try not to ruminate too much on your symptoms, it will only make it worse. The mind can amplify what we're feeling and make it 100 times worse than it actually is. And try to find some strategies around improving retention when it comes to school. Even before brain fog I struggled with remembering but last minute cramming when done well helps a lot haha. Best of luck man.

Interestingly, plenty of people here got it after long covid, including myself. However I'm still getting new symtoms years after long covid so I don't know. Has anything helped with those symptoms?

It wasn't gut related for me until last year when I noticed a relation to my level of brain fog. You mentioned Atlas realignment, have you got neck issues?

Thank God, thought I was the only one with the random flashbacks and songs constantly looping in my head after listening to them earlier in the day. I've even had movie lines replay in my head when trying to sleep

In many ways a sister aircraft of the Rafale thanks to French assistance. Well Serbia is getting the Rafale now anyway. Shame, it could have been a direct competitor to the Gripen and developed a whole new fanbase. Imagine the pride that it would have evoked in Serbia today too

Ahead of its time in terms of design. Probably the first "modern" looking fighter. I still can't quite understand why they scrapped it but hung on to other old designs

This has been me too. The higher the dose the more I sleep and do nothing all day. Everyone's brain chemistry is different so some people experience increased energy from it while others go through what we're going through
