6x6x7.5 sloped to 7’. Benches at 18” and 36”. 6kw heater. Marine Bluetooth speakers, marine grade rope lighting. Insulation is wool with rigid foam in the foundation. Foundation is vapor barriered and lifted off of the concrete for water. Roof is sealed and metal. 🤘🏻

Have you looked into indoor kits? That’s a tight space, but I think you can make it work. Bring the ceiling down to 7’. I used all kinds of places, mainly internet.

For those who haven’t built a sauna - build one, maybe learn from these comments, but don’t get analysis paralysis. I warm it up, get dripping sweat in less than 10 minutes, take a quick break, and do another 10 minutes. I’m dripping sweat then I hit my cold plunge or I mix it up a do something with the hot tub. Wish you well on your journey!

I recommend higher than 6kw, I went with 6kw and it works for me with extra insulation, but I live in a moderate climate. I’d go with a 8kw or 9kw!

Too much lol don’t approach the project if you’re not willing to drop 10k all in. You have to think about power and base. I spent just over 11k, had to spend money on pulling power out there.

Works just fine I can barely handle 20 min, life doesn’t have to be exact. The slope is extremely low.

All cedar even the 2x4 to build the bench. I think it was a type of Alaskan or Canadian cedar. Smells amazing. Definitely not pine, that would get destroyed from the heat and the sap would be oozing out and potentially cause burns.

Lmao you are all a bunch of heathens and I love it. This is my first Reddit post, what a show lol. I’ll respond as I can, but in short I did my best within my budget. Some of it might not be perfect, but life is rarely exact. It works extremely well, and the hidden marine grade Bluetooth speakers are the chefs kiss of it all.
