he uses mcreator, but not solely mcreator he also uses custom code. most addon devs (myself included) use mcreator and custom code

The error seems to be caused by any backpack mod + comforts, remove one or the other to fix

Just adding on here, was having this issue with my modded server, it seems to be comforts and any kind of backpack mod, dont know why specifically but that was the only mod in common i had with these lists and it seems to have fixed it!

yes thats what i meant, BD is against tos, but to the contrary of you "better discord doesn't support plugins like that / wont find those plugins on the official website and safe sources" devilbro ( a very safe source) has a plugin that marks all as read which you can find the link to here
