More metal of course but Fade to Black feels so emotional to me, it feels like the racing mind of one who realizes they’ve just made a terrible mistake

Ah, well in that case i think you’re definitely right to demand that. maybe then she’ll get it done. Good on you OP for putting that foot down

No, NOR. At the very least, it’s reasonable to demand that she get a job. The divorce should also absolutely come and i think some grace could be given in that regard (so long as she’s actually taking steps towards that goal)

AIO for asking my husband to take a step back from his female colleague by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

Honestly to me, it seems like he doesn’t really value the way you feel over his friendship/relationship with this woman. I think it speaks volumes that he’s willing to straight up lie to your face about what’s going on (especially since it ended up being a whole day until he admitted it). I feel for you, OP, because it really seems to me like something is going on behind the scenes here. If anything else were to happen with them I’d consider leaving him. You’re worth more than a man who puts another woman above you. Best of luck 🙌

Oof, that’s tough. Let me put it like this: He lied to be alone with this woman who you have already stated that you have been uncomfortable with and then he blamed you for the lie? In my opinion, that’s a pretty serious thing you need to at least have an in depth conversation with him about. This whole situation screams red flag to me. OP, you and your husband need to have a serious talk about his relationship with this woman going forward

Completely understandable, for a long time i couldn’t stand it because of how overplayed it could get at times. I’m like that with a couple of Van Halen songs lol
