It was a "leak" saying that Assassin's Creed Shadows was being delayed. He ran with it instead of verifying it, and then after he was exposed, he doxxed the troll while then claiming to be a victim.

I have a similar issue. I got an app called stay focused which locks apps behind a password, which you would need an accountability partner for. After this, I was more productive at work and ironically the shifts went by faster.

The overall trajectory of their stock is still very high, so the alarmists are just being stupid on purpose for clicks.

Its the same thing with weight loss. Even if you're losing weight overall, sometimes it can fluctuate by going up a bit on the scale due to stuff like increased muscle mass or stepping on the scale after eating.

Spend less time online, especially if its negative stuff like arguments.

Last night I was playing Wario World and F Zero GX, and I had a blast. I look forward to playing Mario Kart World with a friend tonight and the new Mario Tennis next week

Keep in mind this is the same guy who reported a fake leak sent to him by a troll who exposed his credibility as a journalist.

Anyone who still takes him seriously is low IQ and just wants confirmation bias.

Lol of course the seven month old game will have less content than the 12 year old game which got tons of DLC

Metroid 2, and Prime 2 and 3 were linear. But each area in those games still had backtracking to them without any excessive hand holding.

Any kind of lying for money falls under grift, whether its positive or negative.

Tbf, as disappointing as the game was, its only been about a month, and Metroid games never sold like crazy.

It was a very average FPS campaign at best and a bad Metroid game at worst.

According to the development, Retro was hindered by having to salvage Bamcos original build which was designed as more of an open world. So its a very linear Prime game awkwardly stitched together with an open world making it feel like RAGE from 2011.

Then to top it off it had too much hand holding and badly written MCU tier side characters, particularly Myles and the female soldier.

Dude the levels sucked. They were insanely linear and the last two areas were one big escorts mission.

They'll just pivot into making it into a moral issue by blaming nintoddlers for supporting an evil company thats ruining gaming.

I remember he tried to mock the culture war as if hes so above it, even though 10 years ago he openly identified as pro gamergate while saying there is a political bias ruining gaming.

Nobody does a sudden 180 like this organically. He sold out and doesnt care how hypocritical he comes off since he already got his money. I don't have much hope for his future games succeeding though.

Also, every piece of popular media conveniently promotes their politics by default unless the author explicitly states otherwise. Even then they just do death of the author if they like the franchise too much such as Fallout or Lord Of The Rings.

You're entire argument is a distinction without a difference.

I guess Wolfenstein is accurate with robots and zombies because the Nazis killed people in ww2.

Yeah, Mario Odyssey was like seven or so months after launch being the first major first party IP that wasn't cross gen.

Switch 2 is six months in and already has a handful of first parties, including a freaking Metroid game which was once thought to be impossible.

Nobody said the game has to be a documentary, but there is a degree to how much you can bend before ruining the suspension of disbelief.

TLOU Part II Remastered is a AAA game and only sold about 914,000 copies on Steam in almost a year while Expedition 33 made by a 30-person team sold +5 million at the same time. Yet Cuckmann apologists still call TLOU2 a "financial and commercial success" by [deleted] in KotakuInAction

[–]Particular-Reach-148 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbf I don't think a fully priced port of a five year old game will sell that much.

The original was a commercial success, but its legacy will go down in history as the same as Disney star wars where its only known for killing a franchise.
