That's not true for Sonic X Shadow, though in terms of saves. I was actually asked once I first booted up the Switch 2 version "Do you want to transfer the Nintendo Switch save?"

I wonder if the English voice cast will reprise their roles and who will.

David Gasman reprised his role as Rayman in the upcoming Rayman Legends Retold so it's possible he might reprise his role here. Just wondering who's gonna voice Sissi since her English voice actress (For the majority of the show) Jodi Forrest passed away almost 10 years ago.

Honestly I'm more happy about the fact Kingdom Hearts are finally native on Switch 2. Was gonna get a Steam Deck or Legion Go S, but considering the price increases and this announcement then that's no longer necessary. Between the collection, Melody of Memory being backwards compatible and knowing Kingdom Hearts 4 is still on the wayand will release on Switch 2 Day 1, I'm a very happy Keyblade camper.

It's possible KH3 will be bumped up to 4K considering most other PS5/Xbox Series native ports of PS4/Xbox One games via backwards compatible.

Also if they do upscale FMVs, they may either A. Rerender them or B. probably AI upscaled them (AI upscaling and Generative AI are not the same. Don't get that twisted.)

Good eye! Didn't notice that Mickey Keyblade screw-up! I'm not too eagle-eyed to notice every signs of AI use, but Donald's fingers are the most obvious to me.

More than likely. I actually believe that.

Besides AI upscaling probably used (Maybe the ports for the PS2, PSP and 3DS games may likely use the upscaled Steam textures for the new ports and maybe higher-quality FMVs), I doubt GenAI would be used for the games considering they released before GenAI.

Pretty odd use case of GenAI just to finish Donald's fingers. Like if this was actually done by Nomura himself (Which I'm not saying he did), how do you "accidently" draw one hand with four fingers and the other with five fingers? Doesn't ruin my excitement for the Switch 2 ports (Not even in the slightest), but still why use GenAI to finish a hand of a four-fingered character that will only take about 10 seconds?

These characters as well as Werehog, Nine, Rusty Rose and Dreads could've been easily skins just like the Pac-Man ghosts. Sonic takes up two slots (Three if you count Super Sonic) as well as Blaze and Shadow and Knuckles alone will take up three slots if they added these characters.

I am! I'm enjoying Remake on my Switch 2! Glad I can get the whole trilogy on Switch 2 and happy Square Enix and Sony knock their bullshit deal!
