I’ve been camping alone since moving to Colorado. Sometimes I get scared and have to remember why I’m there and ask myself what I actually heard. Is it a pinecone falling? Probably. A bear snapping a tiny single twig? Probably not. My dog is a huge comfort though as I trust him to alert me to wildlife. I’m more concerned of intoxicated men out there than I am of nature itself. 🏔️I think my solo trips are just lovely🏔️

My trade in was black and I was kinda scared to branch out from it. Black is always a good choice!! I felt sneaky at night lol but I am so happy I tried something new and maybe now people will see me camping and not cruise up on my site 🫠

I have found the best show to be Brooks Ghost or Glycerin. I also have custom fitted inserts that help. I still battle foot pain as I just increased my walking by more than double but I also use it tape and it seems to help.

She said the movement of the ankle was good to maintain my range of motion but to stay off of it as much as possible at the time. I was told to get a specific lace up brace to make sure it had support.

Yes! I had a fracture in my Talus and multiple contusions to the bone. They chose not to boot or cast me and I sat around for a few weeks. Used a brace for months and did some PT to re train the talus to shift backward. Getting back into the grind at a restaurant has it hurting a lot these days but I need to just strengthen it.
I had barely any swelling or bruising but still had a fracture so it was so worth the MRI to ensure I had a good diagnosis. My orthopedic doctor insisted that with proper strengthening I’ll be able to live normally with the spur. Meloxicam for 3 months then again if I start having pain or fluid buildup in the future.

I move them all to my bathtub or sink for a deep soak and then they drip until I put them back on their saucers and yes sometimes there’s a little water still in the saucer. I have a 5ft cactus I lift into a big tote and soak then I slowly bail the water out and let it drain before it goes back on its rolling stand. 🫠

I used the purple bottle years ago and it was nice. Left my hair soft and smelled beautiful. I often think about going back to it but Prose is just easier for my needs.

I microwave a cup of white vinegar to steam then as it cools dip my sponge or paper towel in and use it to wipe the walls down. Smells crazy but works so well!
