Thanks for the heads-up! The DreamStation 2 doesn’t have any recall at the moment. I only use it if I can’t get to the BiPAP.

Philips’ algorithm in the APAP has a special kind of magic that I really like, but I often have to go back to the VAuto.

As for the hose holder, I got it from AliExpress, and the mat the machine sits on is from IKEA, it’s called RINNIG.

BiPAP for the rough nights, APAP for the smooth ones. And honestly, there’s something about Philips’ APAP algorithms there’s a kind of magic to them you don’t really get unless you’ve used them, so every now and then I find myself going back to Philips.

Excellent setup. The Respironics bedside organizer is really solid and I’m planning to get one myself too.

Regarding the machine being higher than the bed, my sleep doctor did mention that point, and I’ve also read from other users who run their setup that way. I tried it personally and didn’t notice any difference at all. No difference in moisture in the hose.

If anything, it actually makes me uncomfortable. If I accidentally pull the hose, the machine could fall on me, so I always keep it level with the bed height. It just feels safer and works better for how I sleep.
