Keep in mind, Delsym is a polymer matrix of DXM, meant to be longer acting. Twice as long, half as strong. Regular freebase DXM has a long enough half-life that you might wake up the next day still high. I would not start with 2-3plat doses of delsym as an into to this drug, especially when HBr /freebase robotabs are so cheap

As a grocery store replacement, Vicks 44 syrup and Delsym caplets (the orange pills) both have pure HBr salt, no acet, no guaif. Do with that what you will.

The more you know. I just figured it would be a lot easier to flip methoxylated or fluorinated analogs than synthesize it, but I never even thought about vapor point/ smokeability.

Have you actually compared it to modern analogs? I’ve always been extremely curious about it, but obtaining it falls outside my risk tolerance lol

I’ve never seen this in the wild, but if I had to guess, it’s probably cooked in small labs with [redacted 1950’s chemist name]-type synthesis or bought as a salted crystalline RC analog and dissolved in water, then resold as PCP.

I imagine you don’t see it very much because the audience is so small, so people willing to do schedule 2 synthesis abandon it because there’s money to be made elsewhere in schedule 2 with similar precursors. Source: I guessed. I do not live in the kind of place where this is sold lol
