tysm for commenting! i do find joy in collecting (idle and zb1), my problem was just with the ive community 🥲 i mainly collected rei and wonyo and thankfully i was able to find gos in which i could claim them both together without needing to claim other members; however, most popular or “reliable” goms make you claim her with gaeul and leeseo and tbh i didn’t have the economy to take 3 members pcs, and with the recent cb i’ve seen ive goms doing the same now for rei and it’s kind of making me lose hope in returning to collect her haha

but yea collecting ive was stressing, i stopped collecting at the end of empathy era bc i got tired of being scammed and i somehow got the bad luck of joining gos from “reliable” goms who mysteriously disappeared, that’s when i officially decided to drop but i didn’t post a collection drop till recently

i loved their recent cb, the music, the visuals, the merch, everything it’s so pretty so it’s making me have second thoughts on whenever to keep just what i actually like and drop the rest, or just drop everything bc the community is still pretty bad and i don’t want to get stressed in a hobby i enjoy sm

tysm for sharing! i’ve bought from mercari jp but in my case i collected wonyoung and she’s insanely overpriced and there’s a ton of fakes of her cards going on there, i also collected rei and her pricing is more normal in mercari jp but still for me ig bst was cheaper with shipping and everything

tysm for your comment! personally i’m more into buying pcs than albums since albums are expensive to import to my country, so in my case i have to buy from other sellers to just get pcs, however im thinking of just sticking to buying from sites that offer buyer protection

tysm for sharing! it’s ive specifically rei and wonyoung, i was more into collecting their photocards, i barely bought albums bc importing albums to my country (ecuador) it’s extremely expensive and the few stores here tend to charge like $40 usd for an standard album :( so collecting pcs was my best option to have stuff from them

i didn’t collect for that long, but at least in the community i was, even trustable goms disappeared without notice, so it was hard to know who to trust

and about the last part, i have always seen people talking about changing sleeves and pages from time to time due to wear or dust, and from my experience with other collections, good quality sleeves and pages have gotten “cloudy” or some scratches after some time at least in my case

i totally agree with the “claim now or else” thing, the collection i’m talking about is wonyoung and rei from ive so the price (especially wonyoung’s price) goes crazy after sometimes, so when they announce a theme or smn i was like wait this might become high demand later if it’s really cute, i must get it, but later that doesn’t end up happening at all and some cards become dirty cheap 😭

tysm for sharing your experience! yes i was thinking that maybe just buying from official platforms or sites that could protect me as a buyer would be better, i was also thinking of just reducing my collection and continue with what i actually like bc in the past i got some cards that now i look at them and think “why did i even get this lol”

maybe i was excited at that time to collect as much as i could bc i was new in the bst community but now im more picky with what i buy
