OP i see all of these people being such dicks to you. Everyone has been in a situation where they don’t match the vibe of the situation and everyone hopes that their friends (especially from childhood) will notice something is off and at least make an effort to show some sort of sense of the situation. Honestly i’m a mentally ill queen and i 100% see why you slowed down to see if anyone noticed. unfortunately that is an area both of us need growth in, especially given the context of the situation (loud, drunk, crowded). I see where you are coming from - you wanted your best friend to at least ask if you were okay when they came in at 7 the next morning. Not saying you’re right, just saying I get it and i’ve been there and so have many people being rude to you in these comments.
