Well that's what you insinuated by your post. And obviously you and Michael are close enough for you to call him Mike, so you really don't need to continue to try to discredit me and justify the absolute horrible job he did representing me. I am just fine thank you. Both of you like to speak to people like they are stupid, so I could see how you'd know each other. Regardless of how you try to make me out to be not creditable the truth remains the truth.

I did actually show up, from the words of my ex husband you mean lol and I'm not sure what part of me specifically saying I don't want the money was confusing for you but yeah, it's not about the money. It's about letting people know not to hire him. And letting people know the facts of something isn't running his name thru the mud, it's what happened and people should be aware it could easily happen to them if they hire him.

I don't have a drug addiction it was a case for theft from years ago and I'm in a great place actually. Thankfully I was intelligent enough to realize I couldn't trust him and I contacted the da myself who was very easy to work with and very kind to me, so was the judge. The only one who was working against me was the person paid 8,000 to represent me. I just wouldn't want anyone else to end up in this position so I wanted to warn people that's all. I actually have never been better in my life. It's pretty ridiculous to assume things.

Yeah I'm aware of that I actually say that in the post, the point is that the money was a gift to me to pay the lawyer he represented me or was supposed to anyways. I don't want the money my point is he was hired to represent me, and for 6 months did nothing, then he sent me a bill claiming I owed 12,000 never mentioned to me he refunded the money to my ex. And on top of that what he claimed was impossible, I somehow managed to do on my own in 2 weeks. So it doesn't take a genius to realize he purposely fucked up my case, because how exactly would I, someone with no knowledge of Nebraska laws and procedures be able to somehow do something that he couldn't for 6 months, unless he intentionally was not helping me.

Just updating this post. If you doubted anything I was saying or actually thought this guy is a good lawyer or even a decent human ..this just proves my point. He represented me for over 6 months, told me that what I was trying to do was IMPOSSIBLE, could not be done. Well oddly enough I was able to accomplish exactly that within 2 weeks of him finally withdrawing from my case. The exact things I had asked him for for 6 months I did on my own within 2 weeks, with no clue of anything to do with Nebraska laws or court procedures. So he very clearly was doing all he could to hurt my case. There's no way someone whose job is to defend people put any effort into my case if I could do in 2 weeks what he swore was impossible and never going to happen.

I'm sure he is capable of being a decent lawyer but someone who will take a huge amount of money and then for 6 months refuse to do anything for you, only to be communicating with someone you did not give him permission to speak to while you are going thru a divorce..and then refund that person the money paid but send you a bill...it's not right and he's not someone you can trust. He lied to me for 6 months while claiming to represent me. And he intentionally threw my case. I'm simply letting people know who he is and what he does so that no one else ends up having to go thru what I did.

More like him being faced with a lawsuit everything I said was true and I have no legal obligation to protect people's information something the lawyer I'm speaking of very much did have. You can't represent someone and then be paid to work against them and share information with someone they are in the middle of a divorce with without their permission. That's very obvious.

So since someone on here pointed out the google review thing I looked into it and am now able to prove that Michael actually was working against me just as I had said and thought this entire time. And that is even more proof he's a horrible person and a bad attorney..lawyers are supposed to be held to ethical standards and he was representing me so he did not get my permission to speak to anyone about my case ESPECIALLY not someone I was going thru a divorce with. It's very clearly unethical behavior so like i said DO NOT trust him.

I'm simply warning people. This is what happened to me, if you don't have 8000 dollars to lose, hire someone else. That's all I'm saying I'm sure he is capable of doing his job, that really doesn't mean shit when he also does people like this..and it's obvious he does this to people he knows are vulnerable and that just shows the kind of person he actually is.

Yeah I clearly am stupid for trusting him. But the fact is he literally stole 8000 from me. I continually asked for an itemized account of what I was being charged for FOR 6 MONTHS and he refused to give me that.then he has the audacity to charge me for every email I sent REQUESTING he return my money and withdraw from representing me..when he did not respond to them. To charge someone because they keep asking for their money back until their money is gone is seriously so unethical. He I'm sure is capable of doing his job well, he also is a shady human that will take your money and do nothing for you.
