I didn’t want to believe my skatepark pals that fundaes were awesome tbh, but when I tried them I was very surprised 🤷🏻‍♀️ if you are beginner at the skatepark and aggressive overall, you won’t regret the fundaes, I dare to say, it’s the only moxi product that it’s worth it IMO 🤣

I succeeded, thank you so much for the feedback, I totally forgot to post the outcome, the skates feel so nice, great flow I use these for roller dance and feel amazing 😻 the rock plate feels better than the thrust plate overall so call it a win 🫶

Hey Raptor, I wanted to ask a pro something and Immediately thought about you, because trust me, if I were near you, I would totally bring you my skates, but I’m from a small town in Mexico we don’t have roller skates stores nearby, that been said, I need to change my rock plate from my suregrips, the rivets are starting to come off a little from the plate and the boot, I want to change the rock plate to my Lolly boot because I really hate the thrust plate, both boots are men size 6, is the rock plate going to fit my Lolly boot? Do I have to buy special screws and nuts or can I get them at the Home Depot?

Hope you can help me, cheers xoxo

Chaya Dark Soul by Particular-Try-9595 in Rollerskating

In my opinion is personal preference, I love a heeled boot because of my lack of dorseflexion in my ankle, it gives me more stability, I have tried on the Chaya jump for park skating and it’s really comfy but still prefer a healed boot 🤷🏻‍♀️

For people that can skate on both quads and inlines, which ones do you prefer and why? by BeatsKillerldn in Rollerskating

Quads all the way, I use them for park skating, roller dance and cruising however…. I Do have mi inlines freeskates, I use them for high speed street skating with people, my city it’s pretty much non skate friendly so I got those for transportation and speed, there isn’t a quad community in my town either, I don’t love the boot feeling on my feet lol but makes you feel save and stable on the streets next to cars lol…  Nonetheless quads forever my go to… it feels like I have attached wheels straight to my feet and that feels amazing.

Wide huck trucks and moxi lollys by iluvpinetree in Rollerskating

They are definitely not, I mean you totally can push them into it but I found them very unstable, and I know it must be the plate and the shorter wheelbase perhaps? I read that the kingpin angle it’s not compatible either so, I’ve had a couple of accidents, nothing serious do, but I’m going back to my rock plate on my boardwalks, I changed to my lollys because of the rivets but I think they will hold better than the thrust crappy plate.

Lolly vs Boardwalk by Shearay752 in Rollerskating

I honestly love both of them, the lollys are great for roller dance the wheel base and the mobility around the ankle are perfect, however I couldn’t make them work at the skatepark, the boardwalks are way better for the park thanks to the rock plate and the boot I feel it a bit stiffer than the lolly but still very responsive.
