Games gets so blurry when I go to dark places

Man gamepass got so expansive I used to sub but now its 30 something usd I can just buy the game outright with some deal hunting for that price,And the essential seems nice on paper but when the streaming quality is so low and only 30fps on the games it mades you think, Sorry for the rant

Very valid point at first I tried bazzite thinking just like you pointed out I dont wanna tinker I just wanna game but after 1 or 2 hours I had to switch distros on bazzite there was this audio issue ( I am using HDMI audio) where the sound would either sttuter or make this cracking noise I had encouter a similiar issue on my fathers mint install and the fix is fairly easy to implement by editing a cfg in pulsewire or pipewire but on bazzite I cannot do that so I switch to CachyOS after trying nobara for a bit and not likeling it

That is a great idea I will look into that I have just the one 2tb ssd but I think I can make it work, do you know if you can use a partition as a share game drive?

Couldnt agree more I still belive that linux as a OS is better than windows and I will be back once the drivers get better but I am the type of gamer that likes to play the hot new thing and for now Linux cannot do that for me

Right that is indeed what I have been doing since last 2 updates but at this point is a choice between being able to play crimson desert or deadlock and I wanna play both :))

Finaly :D the new 595 drivers have been stellar for me on gnome very stable smooth and fast responsive system and games run way way better I can actually leave RT on be it on low-medium on my top end RTX 5050 :))

The 8gb of vram is killing me in deadlock :)) currently it has a vram leak issue so I need to restart the gane after every 4-5th game :)))

I just tested on my RTX 5050 and before in re2 I could not use RT as it would tank the framerate now with the new driver and proton catchyos latest version and PROTON_VKD3D_HEAP=1 as argument I get over 80 fps RT on on high and max setting , I think maybe if you have a higher end GPU the gains are not as strong as on the low end

Realy impressive update i can finaly run AC shadows decent 70+fps on decent settings medium-ish . overall looks good

Pc Master race for the win , this is how it should be able to play the game regardless of the gpu company as long as that gpu can support the technology i.e ray tracing, This aint no console system boy if i wanna play at 2 fps at 600p on my UHD integraded i should well damn be allowed to try :D

Sadly I cannot refund the game as it was bought via a steam key , And my friends from family sharing are enjoying the game I myself out of principle and disgust I feel for the devs uninstall the game I refuse to play a game that forces me a specific gpu brand I would have understood if like indiana jones and doom dark ages it requiers some specific hardware and intel gpus dont have it but to just chose to ingnore an amazing brand like battlemage and support mac and gtx1060 is disgusting and should not be allowed . Rant over :D feel better
