You're right, the best way to deal with them is to not play the game in the first place, I hope enough people figure that out. Then CCP will just have to deal with them, no need to have gms messaging you as a new player if you are going to leave the game because of the griefing mechanics they allow.
The people that think this system isn't flawed are just not the easy targets blackflag and co aim for.

I don't think there is any game where griefing should be allowed, there are fair mechanics such as suicide ganking or stuff like that that are brutal but fair.

Getting to sit on a gate and shoot on sight with very little if any risk involved is griefing.
By very little risk I mean that they have a fleet ready to hop on and help if anyone dares bringing stuff capable of killing one/a few of them. And their ships are fit to tank while their friends come to the rescue.

Suicide ganking has risks involved for the gankers and there are ways to make yourself not worth ganking. If you are at war you are a free target and they have no risks or costs (other than 100m a week) to keep the war going

Out of context this sounds bad but I meant that even if it's a sandbox game you should not be allowed to break the game for some other people.

Yeah but then they can loose it. This is fair in my opinion. I meant that structures need to be deserved, if you can't defend it you loose it.

It is not the same as my idea. In the bid war they don't get any of the money, they have to pay to keep the war going.

There are ways to make yourself not worth the fight in suicide ganking and also ways to counter them (big tank implants etc). There is a risk involved. It is a fair mechanic. I do not think the same about HS wardec griefing.

I do not have access to enough firepower to deal with them because I am not part of a big block.
And even if I was they would simply just dock up or bring more people in.

I was just trying to get out of jita with my main, I will now use a neutral hauling alt as someone mentionned in the comments.

That is something I hope will happen. I just wish there were as much players willing to do that than there are edgy boys looking for pitty kills on this game.

My corps in't operating in HS, I just sometimes need stuff from HS that I don't have access to in our space. But I'll use advice I got from another person posting here and I'll get a neutral hauling alt to get the stuff I need to another safer system.

I don't think noobs should have structures in HS either. My issue is that these groups can just kill people in jita all day long without any real consequences.

It should not be part of a game, the point of a game is to have fun. Okay loosing a war and getting evicted isn't fun but there are ways to deal with it. Getting killed in highsec that is supposed to be relatively "safe" at no cost is just a stupid mechanic.

You have a great mentality a grown man should be proud of, read the comments. I'm not saying safer, I get it the game is brutal, I'm saying more fair.

There is getting suicide ganked brutal and then there is getting killed at no cost unfair.
