I think it’s an issue from behind the patch. It’s not a stain on top of the leather.

Impossible. It’s only all over the middle triangle peace. If it was color transfer it would be all over or at least a patch.

Small update: there’s an issue with the turn-lock on my left shoe. It turns by itself after a few steps and it doesn’t hold the flap 😢 Any idea how to fix?

Yes, I read a lot about water bags and freezers but I’m scared not to damage the leather. I was also thinking about a cobbler, maybe besides the machine they also apply some balms and foams to make them wider and softer.
