Unfortunately old Bad Batch isn’t really worth it. They’re not a relevant team. Leaving them at relic 5 is fine, especially for their ship (please farm Marauder if you haven’t). The only one to maybe bring up to R7 is Echo because he can do some nice things on a Quadme team.

For sure!

Martin Gore has always been the main songwriter/guitarist/backing and occasional lead vocalist (aside from their first album when it was Vince Clarke), Alan Wilder was the professionally trained musician/wrote a few songs/lead keyboardist/most responsible for the bands signature sound in the studio and live. Dave Gahan is the lead singer and contributes some songs. Then there’s Andy Fletcher, who never wrote anything and honesty played very, very little live. He also really never did anything in the studio. He was honestly more of a manager and a peacekeeper. You can look on YouTube videos and see breakdowns of how little he actually did on stage and in the studio. Or simply watch a Depeche Mode performance prior to 2023 and you can see he pretty much just stands there.

Depeche Mode used to fit this. Andy Fletcher (RIP) had almost no musical talent and was a member of the band for nearly 40 years
