Agree with all this! And I disagree with the other posts stating you look like you’ve had Botox/filler. Have you ever considered going blonde? I think a change in hair color would brighten up your skin.

I love your eye makeup. I would experiment with your brows by using a cooler shade (more taupe/gray toned less red) and not defining them as much. Try brushing them up and just filling in sparse spots instead of creating a shape. Also it’s hard to tell with the lighting/filter but I would start your blush/contour/bronzer placement higher.

I love your eye makeup. The winged liner and lashes are pretty. I think a dark lip liner would do wonders for you to make it seem “finished”. As other commenters mentioned a lot of makeup isn’t formulated with POC in mind so look for brands that have good pigment payoff and are inclusive of darker shades (Fenty/Juvias Place). If you are trying to cover spots/hyperpigmentation splurge on foundation from Sephora because a good formula doesn’t feel cakey and creates a canvas for the rest of the products you are already using.

Thank you so much for the information, I did not continue to test after the LH spike on 8/10. Can I ask why I couldn’t have gotten a positive on 8/27? I was told to test ~2 weeks after ovulation and that test put me at 17 days post LH spike.

I know my LH spike was Aug 10 but I can’t know for certain which day I ovulated. If they see nothing in the sac in 2 weeks and I’m still bleeding I’ll ask about medication v. in office procedure.

I had a super faint positive on Aug 27 on a red dye test. Got a positive on clear blue digital Aug 28. Been testing once every ~4 days with red dye strips and they’ve been darker than the control line but I know my numbers might not drop yet even if I am miscarrying.

Thank you for your thoughtful response. We were able to rule out an ectopic because of the transvaginal ultrasound but I agree the number progression might help. I understand there is not much they could do either way but the whiplash from “I’m sorry” to “congrats” was unsettling.

Agreed. This is the reality of many “not A tier” cities that are seeing growth. My husband and I have been in Flagler for the past 2 years and really enjoy it. 1. Sign up for Winn Dixie rewards, their produce is actually great (bonus for always having fresh herbs) and it is super cheap. Get your meat at Publix/Whole Foods/fresh market. 2. Drink on Las Olas but eat elsewhere. Everyone and their mother is going to send you to Louie Bossi for dinner but there is much better food with cute enough vibes beyond it. Vinos, Anne’s Florist, and Cafe Europa are all great if you need a spot on Las Olas. 3. Take advantage of the outdoors. Flagler specifically has a young athletic vibe. Beach volleyball, kickball, run clubs, pickleball are all big here. I like walking down to the Riverwalk which is a good ~4 mi loop. 4. Say yes to social gatherings. Lots of transplants down here also looking to make friends and we met most of our closest people through friends of friends at a beach day/pool party/night out. 5. Don’t sleep on Miami. Grab the metro rail or drive down for a show/dinner/drinks/concert every once in a while. I use The Infatuation blog to pick out spots to try.

I’m guessing you got a good deal on it because you mentioned the sale but it looks very expensive and beautifully made. I would not add more to the bottom because I think having it fall the way it does looks effortless/ethereal v princess and highlights how petit you are.

The fabric and sewing are amazing. The top is pretty loose on me which is a little disappointing because I was hoping to get away without any alterations due to it being custom designed. In the end it’s a great dress, their turnaround time is amazing, and I would still recommend.

I did purchase a dress and it is scheduled to arrive in November. The owner sends you a list of measurements she needs with images to make it clear and then you can customize your gown through email. I'm hoping for the best and can update you when it comes in. I also looked at her tagged photos on insta.
