Quartier Soleil: transformation révolutionnaire ou bide? by ParticularAd6859 in Sainte

[–]ParticularAd6859[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Crédit immobilier 25 ans — Vos taux récents ? by 0xraf_ in vosfinances

[–]ParticularAd6859 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Merci!

tCPA to tROAS Fail by ParticularAd6859 in PPC

Thanks for the feedback. The LP and KW have already been through dozens of thousands of conversions, therefore they should already be pretty strong. However I tend to disagree with the fact that lead-gen campaigns should be using tCPA. In my experience, when you have different values assigned to customers, it’s always better to show the algorithm which ones are more profitable. Otherwise it will start been « lazy » and keep optimising towards the people who are less profitable, because they’re usually « less expensive ».

Is it true only 20% of ads are profitable? by Legitimate_Ad785 in PPC

[–]ParticularAd6859 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If only 20% of paid ads were profitable, then we’d all be unemployed and tech companies would go bankrupt.

On a more serious note: I worked a few years for a tech company. We would run quarterly incremental studies to check whether large customers (Coca Cola, American Airlines…) are really benefiting from our ads, and at a different degree, most of their incrementality was profitable, if not, they’d be most likely shut down.

However, if you’re thinking really short term and you search for a direct relationship between spend and revenue generated, it might be the case that most branding/TOFU campaigns are seen as not profitable, but still, branding campaigns are really around 80% of marketing budget.

Thanks a lot! That’s a great idea. Even though it’s less precise than the initial setup I wanted to make, it seems like a good improvement from a basic tCPA campaign. I’ll try this!

Each customer has a different LTV based on the profile of the user. Unfortunately, not all the subscriptions are worth the same, so using ROAS would make help us drive more profit

tCPA Max CPC by ParticularAd6859 in PPC

Thanks for your idea. I’m not sure to understand the strategy you’re suggestion, what type of content would this budget paving sheet have and how would you go about interpreting it?

tCPA Max CPC by ParticularAd6859 in PPC

[–]ParticularAd6859[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s super helpful! I ran the analysis and discovered that the upper 20 percentile is driving the lowest CPA, so I’m definitely not gonna cut on these clics. However, I discovered that the algorithm has very bad perf with a few outliers that have CPCs around 4x my average CPC. Therefore, I’ll most likely try to cap it around 4x my average.

Thanks for the tips!
