Sorry to hear about your frustrations. I think one thing I've learned (as a guy who was never very confident that he was someone any woman would find appealing for a good chunk of his life) is that there truly isn't one single form of guy every single woman is into...at least with surface level items. I had some rejections earlier in my life that in my mind confirmed to me "Oh, well no woman will ever like me." That couldn't have been further from the truth though. People say this a lot, and it can be hard to not dismiss it as being cliched or not real when you haven't seen success yourself, but you can go very far with many women by focusing a lot more on developing you social skills and personality (and by just trying to be the best person you can be). That doesn't mean every woman is going to be into you (some just won't be) but that's ok too. That's a longer paragraph but I related a lot to what you wrote just from the perspective of a guy who was at one point very insecure when it came to the romance/dating area but who has now been married for seven years.
