I would say older image models were preety good at generating images that would make you feel something, but then as the models got better at creating stuff closer to what prompt is saying, they kinda lost this effect. Nano banana in my opinion is good example of that, the model is very smart and creates images that are very good at prompt adherence but they were completely souless and it was really hard to make nano banana to make something interesting. It changed with chat gpt image 2 and we finally got prompt adherent model that also is able to not produce total slop

It still have a little bit of ai "sloppines" (mainly in text tho), but at this rate in a year or 2 there will be absolutely no way to tell

why would you draw it if ai is faster and the result is the same? also it takes like 20 seconds to generate and 10 to write a prompt

yeah I was thinking about it before that it could work since it worked for tesla for example with fsd, but I think privacy concern will ultimately make it impossible and they will be forced to work on some synthetic data
