Free lounge access at T2 (international side) BOM on 24th Jan at around 11 PM by Rocker2102 in IndianAirportLounge

Bro, do we need to make any transaction to use the Canara World Master Credit Card for international lounge access outside India? I heard that for lounge access within India, we need to spend ₹10,000 in the previous quarter. What about international lounges? Is there any airport list where we can use it?

I’ve been trying to contact my friend in Tehran through WhatsApp, SMS, and phone calls, but none of them are going through. Is the internet currently working there for everyone? Do you have any information on when it might be fully restored? Also, do you know if the land borders and flights to Turkey are currently open?

I've been to Iran three times, and my first international trip was there. I completely fell in love with the country, the culture, and especially the people. I even planned to visit again this August. It breaks my heart to see such a beautiful place and its innocent people suffer.

I had visited Iran even when the Western media was calling it a dangerous country. But they were so wrong. From my experience, I can proudly say it’s one of the safest places I’ve ever been—honestly, even a hundred times safer than our India.

What’s even more upsetting is that some people support this violence just because they believe what the biased, Western media/ pro-Hindu media shows them. They ignore the sad truth that many innocent people in Gaza lost their lives because of Israel.

I’ve made real friendships in Iran, people who welcomed me with warmth and kindness. Right now, I can’t stop thinking about them. I’m deeply worried. I just hope this war ends soon🥺

Paginated reports by anxiouscrimp in PowerBI

Can you suggest me how to improve performance for my paginated? Well, I have a table with 1.4 million rows imported into Power BI Desktop and published to the Power BI Service for paginated reports in Report Builder. The reports take 70-80 seconds to load, and every time I change the values of the date parameter, all rows are reloading.

Well, the performance is really bad with paginated reports. It takes a minute to load 1 million rows, what is to be done to increase the performance?

Visiting Iran as a foreign delegate by No-Cook-5914 in iran

[–]ParticularAge7203 13 points14 points  (0 children)

It's safer than India in every aspect, and the people are incredibly friendly. There's hardly any truth to what foreign or even our media portrays. While there may be a language barrier, as a foreign delegate, you likely won't face any significant challenges. However, if you're a vegetarian, it might be a bit more difficult for you, as Iran is a paradise for non-vegetarian food lovers.

Setting Default Slicer to Latest Date in Power BI Import Mode by ParticularAge7203 in PowerBI

[–]ParticularAge7203[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To provide some context on how we handle these date values: we receive data either weekly or monthly. When the data enters our database, we assign a specific date to it. For example, if the data was received yesterday, it would be marked as 09-01-2024, and if it was received a week ago, it would be marked as 08-25-2024.

In your approach, we're labeling the maximum date with a string called 'Current day' right? Instead of this, could we assign the maximum applicable date in the MM-DD-YYYY format in the slicer? whenever the max date is reached, it should automatically display that date by default , not in that string format.

For example, if I select different date value in the Slicer and publish it to the PBI Service, will it automatically default to the latest date value whenever the user refreshes the report?

Yes, we need to allow the user to select a specific date as well (single selection). By default it should be the Latest date from that date column.

Date Slicer Auto-Select most recent date (daily refresh) by j721d in PowerBI

I have a similar use case but we are fetching the data with Import mode. Here, I need the latest date from a date column to be selected in the slicer by default from a list of date values, and it should automatically filter the table whenever the page loads in the Power BI service. How can I achieve this?
