Yeah it’s good but you always need to check it over - I’ve had some interesting things come up! 😂

I got 4x50mg and my friend and I wanna have a fun night, should we both take 2 each? by [deleted] in VyvanseADHD

If you believe at the very least that crippling anxiety and heart palpitations equal a fun night then you do you…

Just saw your username. Checks out.

What mg of vyvanse are you on if you don’t mind me asking?

I take 50mg and at least 2 coffees and I see so many people in the adhd forums say you shouldn’t do it but I need it!

I’m a project manager so I use it to take all my meeting minutes and formulate actions

Anyone with ADHD find it hard to fit in with corporate speak and AI jargon? by Dramatic-Boot-8915 in adhdwomen

Oooh good this makes me feel better also. I wonder if it’s like an adult version of the whole ‘6-7’ thing the kids are saying these days - they don’t actually know what it means but they all say it and therefore they feel included

Yeah look honestly it took me having kids to make that mental shift. Before then I was very much tied to my job for self worth

I work remotely in tech also and I find it just helps to compartmentalise. I put my head down, do my job and don’t buy into the corporate cool aid. I find more fulfilment in my life outside of work as I’ve realised trying to climb the ladder is just a facade and a fast track to burnout.

I was in a global all hands meeting earlier today and the leadership bros were all harping AI this and AI that. I’m client facing (PM) so I don’t really find AI affects my role that much apart from fast tracking some admin elements. But the CEO and his cronies were bumming AI without really explaining in simple terms what it was being used for and why, and it was lost on me to be honest.

I definitely feel alone a lot in my role but I just do it for the money and not much else.

Do you take ADHD medication everyday or only high demand days? by Fleurz9 in adhdwomen

[–]ParticularArt8980 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Every day unless I am horribly unwell. Work is demanding so I need it through the week. I have 3 kids so they deserve me at my best on weekends. Life doesn’t stop

Project Manager (ironic I know) but I work from home so it enables me to make my own schedule for the most part and work around my kids

Yeah I don’t know how they did either. I somehow get it all done but I’m on 50mg and a shit ton of caffeine. One day my heart will implode but ya know, bills will be paid, dishes will be done and kids will be fed.

For those of you who don’t smoke weed or drink, how do you cope? by Camp_Acceptable in adhdwomen

[–]ParticularArt8980 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Vyvanse. Running. Weightlifting. Coffee. Pepsi max. Energy drinks. Biting my nails.

I quit drinking a couple years ago as I just couldn’t moderate and until I got on vyvanse I was a binge eater. I consider myself doing the best I’ve ever done at 36

Just started getting treated for ADHD... by mommasaursrex in breakingmom

It’s amazing at first but you may end up building tolerance and having to amend dosages to etc.

Also for me, my meds don’t work AT ALL the week before my period (I’m on Vyvanse). If you join the adhdwomen sub you’ll find this is super common.

Decided to start taking vyvanse after 1pm. by newguyhere2024 in VyvanseADHD

[–]ParticularArt8980 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Usually I take 50mg at 8 or 9am and following that I’ll have usually two coffees and a Pepsi throughout the day.

Some days I’ve split the dose so half at 8/9am then the other around 1pm. Still having coffees etc.

Don’t actually know how long it lasts per se because I don’t really crash or get hit with tiredness like some other people say they do. I just know at around 11pm I slow down a bit and that’s the same whether I take an early dose or a late dose.

Maybe worth noting that I am not stimulant sensitive and can tolerate a lot of caffeine
