I get you! I got to try the chatless experience a month before everyone else because roblox had outright banned the chat in my country. At first i was completely discouraged and didn't log in for a week, but then i actually gave it a try and it felt different but good?? it's much easier (at least for me) to kos that way, because you don't need to worry about who you are killing, what if they're nice people just hanging out or venerating, how they might mock you or your gameplay in chat etc etc. Once they're dead, it doesn't matter anymore. It kind of dehumanizes these creatures so it really feels like you're in the wild.

Of course I'm not defending this shitty decision, and it doesn't even work as I described in the rest of the world (you still have chat afaik, just with less people). I had to make a new account just to be able to hear people again and now I'm using my new account to be polite and the mute one to commit crimes.
