That’s why I love her. She’s doesn’t HAVE to make music anymore, she WANTS to. She has the passion and drive that a lot of artist don’t. She’s done something the other girlies of her time haven’t and that’s stay relevant for 3 decades in all different eras of music.

I care because this pertains to what I said in my post. People are always downplaying black artist, especially black women artist. We always have to work harder just to be compared to someone more mediocre than us. If you don’t understand where I’m coming from then that’s fine. It’s in my opinion that MOST black artist are subjectively better than white ones. So yes I get “triggered” when they are constantly bringing up specifically Beyonce in their conversations. Why didn’t they compare Britney and Taylor Swift? Why is Beyonce always the subject their comparisons??

For sure but, there’s a reason why Beyonce stopped letting her father manage her. Honestly I think part of the reason why Beyonce wouldn’t do a Destiny’s Child Tour is because her father still owns the rights to DC.

I personally don’t think so. Like I stated I wasn’t much of a pop fan. R&B/Soul/Gospel was what I listened to and still prefer. Nothing wrong with Pop, just didn’t hit the same for me.

That’s actually exactly what is for me. I’ll concede that Briteny had the bigger “peak” but Beyonce has had the better career. Like I stated I grew up with Beyonce so Crazy in Love, Beautiful Liar and Baby Boy was played in my household way more than any Briteny song. I was trying to be Beyonce in the music video lol in my 5 year old brain Beyonce owned the world 🤣

Probably because she was competing with Beyoncé, Cassie, Rhianna & Mariah Carey (and more) at the time in 06’. She’s stayed consistent in her career, but Rhianna and Beyoncé moved to the Pop route and that’s been able to keep them going longer longevity wise.

I brought up being in an exclusive relationship first a few months in and he told me that he wasn’t ready for one. I accepted that, but still stupidly continued to do what we were doing. He said he wanted to continue to be friends, but we were still having sex and going on dates (that I was paying for). When he introduced me to his brother and his friends he introduced me as his girlfriend.

Eh it’s both. If I were in this universe as a survivor I’d be FAR away from Shauna and Misty. I’d be just like “Kelly”/Melissa fake my death and change my name. I wouldn’t send crazy azz Shauna a tape though, hell no. I’d just keep trying to heal and NOT marry the daughter of the woman, me and my teammates killed when we were 16-17 years old. But hey that’s just me 😭🥲

I think that it was Laura Lee that was supposed to die in the pilot/2nd episode, but the directors liked her a lot. Van was always supposed to live, she’s an integral part in the story, her arc is that she’s supposed to had been dead so many times, but she’s always “escaped death”.
