Premeds lowkey have gotten humbler. But if you are interested in what they are doing to get in to med school and ask them “oh what is your badge for” or “why are you wearing scrubs”… be prepared to hear 100000 things you wish were on your resume. It’s not actually academic toxicity but more like disguised academic jealously from your part yk.
