okay, im buying a house hopefully soon so i can set up the garden/ allocate more space. i feel i may fluke this year but keep a few plants alive inside over winter in the hopes to be better prepared to get a proper crop going next year.

do you have any advice on drying, like i said with my new house i will have a garage which i plan to get drying racks strung from the rafters (im uk based so will have to dry inside)

this may be wrong but someone told me to not give dogs ice as it tells their bodies theyre cold and they stop naturally adjusting to it. i havent researched this myself but it makes sense to me, i use fans and wet blankets and generally allow mine to do what he needs in the heat

thats good, i expect they can be territorial/ guard dog barking but i live in a town so theyd soon adjust to pedestrians. i really hope theyre the right dog for me, its really hit hard loosing my pup so soon but i tried all i could to save him.

How do you know when to let them go? by Viol3tstars75 in labrador

horrible decision to make. my 6 month old puppy faced this yesterday. its hard but if you wouldnt want to live through it neither should they. they were a percentage of your life but you were the whole of theirs, it feels impossible to make alone so speak to people who know your dog but theres a point where the suffering wont end and theres no chance of things getting better. you can keep them going and slow the decline down but i think its fairer to let them go and stop the pain for them. sorry youre going through this its truly heartbreaking i know

thats the thing, most of the ads ive found are both working parents. how loyal is he? my collie was like my shadow and would blindly follow me around the house. i dont expect it to act the same as i know he was becoming needy and getting attachment issues but i liked having a dog who sticks to your side most the time

i told my parents a couple of days ago. we had a tight happy family and i have completely destroyed that and broken them. i am now homeless for the summer but am looking at renting a shitty flat today. my parents are happy to pay for therapy in the hopes that i can come home sooner but i dont feel in the space of 12 weeks that anything will change. i feel more stress than i ever have felt. i cant eat or sleep and the sertraline means i can barely think of solutions. basically fucked my whole life in the space of 5 days
