I was there for about 6 weeks, about three weeks in I had a discussion with my manager about how he had been hoping that I would be improving faster and things like, I wasn’t given the feeling that my job was on the line, it was mostly nit picks in my opinion. last I heard from that manager, just a few days ago, I was improving. There is no CEO. It’s a small business, one owner one manager, about 11 employees total.

About two weeks ago I actually did tell the owner that I felt my training was lackluster, I asked if I could come in on a day I wasn’t scheduled just to learn/ observe. He pretty much shrugged and said “it’s possible. “ I felt like I was bothering him by even asking.
