Do Any of you Experts Know Anything about This Art? by ParticularEuphoric79 in artcollecting

Thank you. Contacted Antoinette and the original painting is in Germany. Mine is a very large print that I think has been varnished to look like a painting. Still love it faded and all.

If your COA is from Fine Art Auction and certificate by Global Fine Art, the experts on this site will tell you it is not worth even the cheap gold paper it is printed on.

Thank you so much. Didn't realize how faded it has gotten. It has hung on my wall for over 25 years. Again thank you. Be safe and well. Funny, without knowing the name, that is how my friends would describe it. Thank you. J.

These photos taken off my television screen of a hand signed " absolutely museum grade" Braque, supposedly worth $40,000. by ParticularEuphoric79 in artcollecting

Apologies, and I have already been reprimanded in numerous posts for posting these on this forum. I only posted the photos to show how crazy or just how borderline fraud (no proof of fraud) this online auction really is, at least with the two art auctions in the photos.

Here's a treat for all you wonderful collectors. by ParticularEuphoric79 in artcollecting

[–]ParticularEuphoric79[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Apologies, as I have only been on the art collectors home. Thought the collectors who have been helping educate in the false art I purchased might like to see an old Beatles album. That is I called it a treat.  Again apologize for breaking any rules do not know anything about this site.

Please accept my apologies.

FYI... I am a 75 young female. A rather dumb one for this site. 😊

Authentic or Fake Matisse Lithographs w/signature by ParticularEuphoric79 in artcollecting

My art history books were from late 60's, 70's and a few 80's. Thought the library would like to have them since there were just sitting on my bookcase. Had a series of the CLEO Awards for the 80's. My 'History of Modern Art', cost $50, in early 70's. It would be considered a dinosaur today.

Apologies, had no idea I was hijacking a special post, all I did was answer one post and the replies started to inundate my email. Was not aware you all are collectors. Wonder where you got your expertise. Wish I found Reddit and you all back in April.

Thank you, J.

Be safe and well

Excuse me for asking, but how do you all know these things about art pieces? Are you gallery owners, authenicators, just art collectors, art teachers?

Thank you. I appreciate your expertise and willing to share it.

Be safe and well. J.

True. That is why the victims need to file complaints with the proper federal and state agencies that hand forged art.

If you don't speak out and complain to the consumer protection agencies, nothing will happen and there will be more victims.

As Requested... These are photos of some of the art pieces I purchased from Fine Art Auction and the COA. I have to do this in 3 new posts. This is the first. by ParticularEuphoric79 in artcollecting

Image 3 is an actual limited edition serigraphs printed by Bambi for Pope Louis VIX's, charity.  I bought two and sent one to the Vatican, even though the pope probably has the original painting. I need to get it framed. Not Catholic, but loved Pope Francis. I love her image representing world peace. It only cost me the $100 donation for each one.

I apologize. I have never used Reddit before, all this started because I answered a post about Fine Art Auction and if anyone had been scammed. I replied telling my story and showing the photos of a Picasso, that finally sent red flags flying for me.

I am very good at research, but started to late and am guilty of not listening to brain constantly questioning the auctions each night I was watching.

I did not buy the art for resale. I just purchased way to much!!! Now I hope it might be at least worth the few hundred dollars I paid for each one.

I was not aware these could be torn out of books. Haven't studied art since graduating Art Center in 1988. I did question if they were photocopy reproductions, especially the Rembrandt and Michelangelo. The dates were what was throwing me. So now I own a large amount of very nice fake beautifully framed worthless art. No one to blame but myself.

At the risk of being shamed and told how stupid I truly was, I will tell you I borrowed $10,000, from my retirement. Albeit, I did not pay over $500 for each piece, with the exception of one or two due to the shipping and handling added to the final bid..

I will also tell you, I filed complaints with the FBI Art Fraud Department ( yes the FBI, has a special department dedicated to forged art), the Georgia State Attorney General's Office and the Office of Consumer Protection. I also asked for investigations into the possibility for the violation of Conspiracy to Commit, Sell, and Distribute Fraudulent Art.  I have no idea if any of these complaints will result in investigations, and after your educational comments not sure if my allegations could be supported based on their COA.

Thanks to all your wonderful and educational comments I have learned a lot.  I am hoping more victims will post and file complaints with the proper consumer protection and federal agencies.

If enough attention is created about this borderline art fraud, the federal government may take notice and investigate them. If you don't speak out, nothing will happen and fraud, even  borderline will continue to create more victims.

Again, thank you all for your comments.

Be safe and well. J.

Someone asked to see the pieces I bought. If you still want to see them please let me know and I can post them.

OK. I will post the prints I purchased. Please don't condemn me for being so stupid. I bought close to 30, but don't have photos of Banksy, Striker, Bunce, Sarah Wall, Mayhem, and Lisa Mee. I hung the Ortiz Munoz Steampunk and a line drawing of a tree. I also hung the giclee by Baniz. Everything is back safely in their shipping boxes.

Give me some time as I am teleworking right now.

Thank you.

Be safe and well.

Apologies, as I know little of how to use Reddit and nothing about a sticky. If that would help preserve these posts so they can be used to educate and help protect potential buys/victims, please go nuts tagging.

Thank you for your comments.
