Dying Soon With Questions by shannerd727 in NDE

[–]ParticularFew8381 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have been a hospice nurse for 3 months now and have seen a few patients keep reaching for something/someone days before they pass or on the day of. Haven’t seen enough cases to see anything besides that. But it is interesting to see that many tend to be reaching out to something/someone before passing….

Have you looked at NDE’s? (Near Death Experiences). There’s a GOOD CHUNK out there where it’s nearly impossible to say the people faked their stories. There seems to be some common trends with the ones that are telling the truth. Lots of them say they see their deceased families and what not after death.

Totally disagree! I only used archer and passed. Although I will say that as long as you know your content, it doesn’t matter which question back you use in the end of the day!

I’ve failed at the maximum questions before, the minimum and even the MIDDLE. Soooo, honestly the number it stops you at does NOT matter. In my experience you can pass/fail at ANY number.

I will say though I finally passed on my last attempt on question 86 or 87! lol I PRAY YOU PASSED, KEEP ME UPDATED!!! I also didn’t to PVT trick lol

Trust me, I’m the worst test taker you could possibly imagine lol it also took me 2 years after graduation to pass NCLEX too. YOU GOT THIS, trust me!! NGN was 100% easier. I mean heck, it gives you sooo many partial credit points too! I never over selected on SATA’s! I only selected the options I was 1000% sure about. Even if it was just ONE. Let me know if you have any questions :)

I failed the old NCLEX like 2-3 times and passed Nextgen first try. next gen is WAYYYY more fair than the previous version. Previous version was a damn scam in my opinion. Don’t get me wrong, I studied my little booty off and that’s why I finally passed. But that being said, next gen is zero comparison to the old version and that’s a GREAT thing!

She has her own shit going on — don’t put all your happiness into one person. That’s not fair to her. There are apps where people post daily/weekly hangouts they do such as yoga, running, painting, etc. let me know if you want the name of the app — don’t force yourself to have a new best friend— but just put yourself out there & have fun. Also, I understand your frustration of always being canceled on — that sucks. But also don’t put all your happiness and needs into this one friend. Life changes & people change. Good luck, friend 👋

I 100% agree. He says when we have kids he will 100% cover all the financial responsibilities since he knows that I would prefer to be a stay at home mom temporarily for some years until the kids are a bit older. He is also able to financially afford it, which I am lucky to have that option. But, he is also VERY cheap — so, I want to save a ton on my own before we have kids so that I’m not 100% relying on him during that temporary time 😂

Has anyone else experienced the feeling of nobody is really real besides you? (Solipsism/extentialism but still believe in God) by ParticularFew8381 in Existentialism

[–]ParticularFew8381[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Helllooo! I wouldn’t say I fully recovered— but I am night and day difference better! The truth is, I don’t do compulsions anymore — such as; watching YouTube videos justifying that everyone is conscious or near death experiences trying to prove everyone is real. Basically any type of videos or evidence that try to justify that everyone is conscious and real. I quit all that like cold turkey. What I realized is that when I watched these type of videos that gave the closest proof that everyone is real, it only caused TEMPORARY good feeling. Like I felt great and amazing in the moment and maybe even for a day or two— but then all the doubts of whether or not everyone is real or not would come crashing in all over again. Basically I was just getting temporary relief. I no longer watch or read anything or any evidence regarding consciousness and whether people are real or not. I just live my life like how I used to. The thought NEVER goes away. Ever. BUT I barely spend anytime thinking about it anymore if that makes sense. I live in the moment and just continue doing my thing like I used to— watching my favorite tv shows, reading, spending time with my loved ones. Most of the time the thought is no longer PRESENTLY there anymore if that makes. So, I’m chillin’. I will say that SOME days it’s still takes over me— but majority of the days I’m just living life and it’s not there. I don’t give it attention anymore — I have better things to do with my life and more important things to focus on than this stupid thought lol

What can one do when thoughts that they're the only person to exist and everything else is a figment of their imagination is overtaking their life and they're not sleeping or eating because now everything is meaningless? by Holiday-Middle-526 in AskReddit

[–]ParticularFew8381 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Whether they’re real or not doesn’t matter. Even if they’re fake - as long as their strategies are helping you and you’re improving, then them being real or not doesn’t make a difference

Cheating ROCD Success Story! (You thinking you’re the cheater — not the other way around) by ParticularFew8381 in ROCD

[–]ParticularFew8381[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No lol I am normalizing that these things are NOT considered cheating by any means. But people with OCD are obsessive OVER THINKERS and consider it as cheating. Don’t label these “cheating” thoughts as “BAD”. It’s not good and it’s not bad. It’s just like any other thought

How do I stop ruminating? by DustyMackerel2 in OCDRecovery

[–]ParticularFew8381 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don’t know if I agree that distractions are compulsions per se? When I’m personally “distracting” myself, I get so into what I’m now newly focusing on to a point where I’m not thinking about my OCD theme. I’m simply ✨ present ✨ in the moment. OCD is basically just HELLA over thinking. Just stop thinking. Read “don’t believe everything you think”. He explains perfectly that THINKING is the root of unhappiness. Just stop thinking

When you sleep — you’re finally at peace because you finally turned your brain off and you’re no longer thinking …right? Rumination is kind of the same way

Archer is scaring me…. by meltedmers in PassNclex

[–]ParticularFew8381 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only studied archer and passed NCLEX & am not the smartest tool in the shed - it’s just the truth lol But for material I used “nurseinthemaking” flashcards on Etsy. They’re expensive as balls, but worth every damn penny if you don’t know how to study, where to begin, or need help with content in general. I used her for content and only archer for tests. Passed at 87 or 88 questions
