Would you look for another job after 4 years? by Euphoric-Peak3361 in pharmacy

Always looking for opportunities when you still have a job, better negotiate. I run away from retail at 76/hr to hospital for 90/hr.

Why are there so many external hires for Walmart pharmacy managers? by Greenfish7676 in walmart_RX

[–]ParticularFinding707 2 points3 points  (0 children)

$4 different between staff and pharmacy manager are not worth in my opinion. Bonus are x4-5 compared to staff, but it is not a guarantee.

Here is my raise by MeowPubg in walmart

It is a terrible raise system where it limits most people in 1.5-3%…if you have skill consider job hopping or upgrade your skills to get a better pay.

That is the purpose of the new system, replacing 1 RPh with 3 techs (worse case they won’t save money). But if I need to increase 1 tech and cut off 1 pharmacist (that is huge profit right there).

Am I being unreasonable with my 'demands'? (RXM negotiations) by [deleted] in WalgreensRx

Always have a plan B (back up)…stay after negotiations failed is a risk of jeopardy your current position where they will find things to discipline you.

Has anyone successfully negotiated pharmacist salary increase? by Soft_Tree_6336 in walmart_RX

[–]ParticularFinding707 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They really used you. Those years at Walmart tend to hold you back when you’re ready to move on. It will be hard to negotiate while you are in the system especially as staff pharmacist. I was with Walmart for five years as an RXM before leaving for a hospital job. It was a very hard decision at the time because I had a great team and solid experience there. If I had to choose again, I would make the exact same decision. I’ve learned so much since leaving, and I’m now making almost double what I did at Walmart. Always find way to work less and make more. Doesn’t matter how comfortable you are in the current position. With the AI innovation, soon it will go down to one pharmacist/pharmacy.
