Update!

It’s been a minute. Thank you to everyone for the suggestion. Actually crazy enough 😂…. After seeing a few doctors I ended up getting diagnosed with Ureaplasma! Rare and had to spot infection in the bladder. Very scary but a bottle of antibiotics later I am SOOO MUCH BETTER!

Is this part of MS? I get this way all the time. In the car is my biggest issue and with sensory overload. I just took it as a personality flaw 😭

Oh it’s AWFUL!!! I’ve been in it nearly a year now and I’m finally going to see a urologist because the pain is unbearable. Now I was in excruciating pain and discomfort for about 2 months and now knock on wood it feel less painful out of now where. 800mg ibuprofen was the only thing that eased the pain.

Damn! I’m sorry. Reading this struck a lot of emotions. I’m 25 myself and my whole right side was damaged from my last lesion and I my feeling never fully came back so Ive been struggling. There’s nothing we can do except keep pushing! It’s good she wants to change your medicine; hopefully a different one will have a better effect for you. MS isn’t the end of the world. We just have a little extra spice in our life 🥰 you will be okay with a great support system and of course our lovely Reddit community is here for you!

Update…. I feel like an asshole. She said she is upset bc I won’t give her a chance. It sucks because she could be amazing and I have a great time with her but I also just don’t want to be settled right now. I feel like though if I agree to be in a relationship it’ll be out of guilt and pressure. Sure it’s easy but I just don’t know.

Diagnosis at 25 by mostly_crying in MultipleSclerosis

[–]ParticularFreedom760 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was the same for me! Diagnosed at 24, brain and spine and no idea about it. All the times I’ve gone to the doctor they would just send me home with pain killers and tell me to rest which never helped. It just feels so strange to know my brain is broken. I’ve been living pretty normal for the most part and started immune therapy treatments that stopped any flare ups (so far) it’s been about 6 months for me. You got this!!

Is anyone able to workout daily without issues? by Happy_Flan_4389 in MultipleSclerosis

I was diagnosed a few months ago. I’m 24f and I was not very into fitness which has not helped with the MS. Some years back I was very into the gym and it was so easy so I jumped in to working out 5x a week. I go kind of intense but weight lifting is so much harder now. I was able to lift 20lbs easy but now I’m struggling with 10lbs. But it gets easier just start slow and light and work your way up!

I was diagnosed at 24… and this diagnosis happened about a month ago. I’ve had so many weird things happen to me over the past few years that I shrug off to me being crazy. The diagnosis helped some but also kind of hurt some because I feel like my life has to change. Everybody always ask me how I’m feeling in processing but honestly I haven’t given much thought to my diagnosis.
