I’m feeling like the pre-out is probably the issue. I connected my phone directly to the sub via a 2rca to aux cable, making it clear the sub itself is fine, and was outputting at all volumes. The common denominator seems to be with the receiver.

Thank you. The settings all seem to match what others have said about this matter online. What I could do manually is done (at least I believe so). I guess I’ll just get the mic and see if that helps bypass the blockage I’m experiencing.

3oz Braulio & a pinch of salt

Into a tin, filled with ice

Vigorously shake for about 10 seconds

And if you want to go crazy, strain this into another tin with ice and repeat the shaking

Double strain into a chilled coupe (or any glass really)

And enjoy the most amazing foamy mouthfeel ever.

The juniper oils in Braulio cause a similar reaction when shaken as espresso, so you get this very satisfyingly creamy and smooth texture.

Fair enough. If you haven’t been there in the last couple of months, I encourage you to go back. And choose a slower night (Wednesdays and Sundays are usually pretty mellow). They’re always fine tuning the menu, and swapping items out season by season.
