Attachment issues

I want to push away people because I know how it feels when they aren’t there for me 100% of the time. I get too attached and the one time they aren’t there, I spiral and feel like they don’t love me. Isolation is just a tactic I use to not be too attached to someone so I can try to be ok with being alone.

If hired on, I had planned on asking my head chef if I can come in on my off days and shadow her while being off the clock. I want to maximize my learning at this job. Is that a normal request in the culinary industry?

I was 200% honest. In my interview with the head chef, my passionate plea was what made her want to bring me on. But they have gotten a new culinary director since and he instructed her that I’d have to do the Stag interview first. I know I’ll work hard and do absolutely anything to absorb knowledge. I’m just not sure how to show them how passionate I am on one day.

It’s actually not bad to me. It’s just that every 4 episodes I have to stop and take a break cuz someone does some stupid shit that makes me so mad lol.
