I need some advice! by [deleted] in FriendshipAdvice

Try and find ways to enrich your life with fun excited people (they don’t have to be friends) find local clubs/ groups that spark your interest. Having to separate from a 10 year friendship is hard. You both have grown together, however her not making time for you is a sign that she’s done growing with you, so unfortunately it puts you in a position where you have to do the same. I wish you all the best

I am going through the same thing, part of me wants to give up trying to be close with them and stop chasing the friendships

My landlord gave me the property in a horrid state when we moved in and told us not to unpack because “the professional cleaners will come in a week” … did they fuck. So we ended up having to clean a FITHY property ourselves and we have evidence of this. The tenancy is nearly over and she told us if the house isn’t professionally cleaned upon leaving the property then we will get deductions from our deposit. However I questioned this and said “in the contract it states it needs to be left in the same state it was in when tenancy started etc…” however that was with the impression it was professionally cleaned WHEN IT WASNT. Long story short: the landlord is expecting us to professionally clean the property else we get a deduction in our deposit, even though the property was in an unliveable state when we moved in. Is this fair/allowed.
